Bottle, cloudy yellow color with yeasty look too. Nice carbonated mouthfeel, tastes of lemon with hops also hint of tobacco. Overall a pleasant suprise.

Jul 15, 2008 Bottled. Smells nuts, a bit roasted. Taste almost smokey. Dark dark, a bit hazy with a tiny white head.

Jun 16, 2008 Light lemonade yellow, quick fizzy head. Fruity and vegetably nose, wheat and yeastiness. Flavor is quite malty with citric hops, quite strong soap, a bit spicy finish. Medium bodied, average carbonation. A few off-flavors, still quite nice & refreshing.

Jun 16, 2008 Updated: Sep 5, 2008Bottled at Old Bank, Turku. Clear golden, rich airy head. Ashy fruity nose. Light-medium bodied with spritzy mouthfeel. Short but lively wheat malt flavour followed by banana and minerals. Finishes with salty hop bitter finish. An interesting, drinkable beer

Jun 6, 2008 Slightly cloydy yellow beer with medium white head. There are some bitterness and wheatbeet-like aromas. Something forest type flavour is found, maybe pine needles, but that makes flavour little fusty. Little too much of carbonation with some spicy flavours but still medium body even with these alcohol procent. Pine needles dominate little too much but still Laitilan kesä differs from other lager, positive ways.
