7.5.2014. Aroma of cereal, that unpleasant Laitila-taste and some hops, not much different from bulk lager. Taste is rather light with malts, Laitila vegetables and some bitterness in finish. Doesn’t convince.

Pours a slightly hazy yellow body with a quickly settling white head. Nose is fresh and hoppy with notes of citrus fruits, rapeseed and honey.Taste is mildly sweet, followed by a hoppy bitterness and a short finish. Carbonation is on the light side and mouthfeel is fairly light. A nice refreshing summer beer.

Can. Pours clear and golden, with a small white head. Mainly malts and caramel in the aroma with light citrusy and floral notes. Medium sweetness and light-to-medium bitterness.

Pours clear gold. A somewhat dry, grassy taste with hops and fruit. Just a slightly bitter finish, but doesn’t leave much of an impression since it is somewhat watery. Still, an ok pale ale for casual drinking.

50 cl can @ Timo A.
Pours hazy golden color with a small head. Some surprisingly amount of hops on the nose, mild orange and gooseberry bush. Gooseberry and lemon flavor, some grass too. Somewhat of a positive surprise.

Golden. Sweet soapy and slightly wheaty aroma. Floral and herbal taste. Not really APA but better than a lager.

Can on a train (VR) in Finland.Pours golden with a big frothy head, impressive appearance.Aroma of citrus fruitiness coupled with some floral and even exotic fruity notes, also a touch of pale maltiness in the background. Taste is crisp and fairly dry. Hoppy bitterness is light to medium in strength, for an American style ale a bit too mild. Crisp, fresh fruitiness dominates with some floral notes. The palate is a bit aggressive, as the carbonation seems overdone. Light body. Overall this is a decent alternative to other light, pale micro brews available in Finland but not as good as the main competitor, the brilliant Keisari 66. Towers above other beers in VR’s selection, however.
