(Laitilan Kievari Barley Wine) Bottle 330 ml from Hermod, thanks! Pull-off cap. Poured into a snifter, ABV 8.3% Dark brown red colour on the body with a good sized tan head, thick enough to have a good retention, Light lacing left on the glass. Aroma of dark fruits, caramel, light vanilla, light chocolate nuances. Taste of malts, caramel, dark and red fruits, some hops too, mildly sweet at first but with a nice bitterness on the finish. The bitterness stays on the aftertaste too, with quite long duration. Lively carbonation, medium thick body. Very good, and althought not so strong, a great sipper, especially after it warmed up.
