Panimomestareidemme taidonnäyte ja samalla LWT Oy:n 15-vuotistaivalta kunnioittava juhlaolut. Suodattamaton pintahiivaolut, mitä on kypsytetty 15 kuukautta. Maultaan erittäin täyteläinen, voimakkaasti humaloitu, paahteisen maltainen, suklainen ja kahvimainen. EBC yli 300, EBU 82.

(Laitilan Kievari Imperiaali) Bottlw 330 ml at home, pull-off cap, from Hermod, thanks! Poured into a small snifter, ABV 9.2% Pitch black colour on the body, small dark brown head on top, thick enough and with good retention in spite of its small size. Thin line of lacing around the glass. Aroma of chocolate, oats, a bit lactic, light roasted malts, liquorice. Great taste, less chocolate but still there, lots of coffee now, roasted malts, coal, light alcohol, nicely bitter on the aftertaste. Thick, almost chewy body, carbonation a tad high, quite dry on the palate. Really great beer!

Sinful and black as the deepest dungeon. Frothy big beige head. One big lacing down the glass. Good looking stuff. Typical impy aroma. Chocolate, coffee and mild licorice. Full body and tad sweet. Rich bitterness and a soft carbonation. Maybe to much bitterness. Chocolate, coffee and mild roasted flavor with some licorice in the end. Very dry! A decent IS, but not a classic.

Black body, no head. Very nice aroma with malts, syrup and sugar. Taste is quite dry, slightly bitter. Slick mouthfeel and very little carbonation. Not very good for an imp stout in my opinion.

Opaque black color with thick head. Oily appearance can be seen clear when pouring the beer. Aroma has loads of roastiness with elements of coffee and chocolate. Taste is sour, balanced and lasting. Flavors of black currant, liquorice and some roasted malt. Bitter and sweet aftertaste. Nice one.

Bottle. Black and opague. Nutty caramelly aroma with hints of licorice. Roasty, alcoholic flavor. Licorice, salt, coffee. Sweet, firmly hopped. Fairly well balanced.

Bottle shared with Nimrod and Yael. Thanks Israel Falka! Very black, opaque, with a foamy tan head. Malt, plum raisins and faint smoke aroma. Tastes very bitter yet delicate, piney but definitely not hoppy. Full-bodied, dry, astringent finish.

Bottle @ Kings Day Tasting 2014 shared with Dutchdrebus. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized creamy light to medium brown head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, liquorice, some hops. Taste malts, hops, liquorice, a touch of sweet-bitter. Not your typical imperial stout, but very enjoyable!

Flaske 0,33l fra Alko Muonio. Drukket i Skibotn 13 Apr 14. Svart. Pent mokkafarget skum som varer en stund. Lav teppelacing. God lakrisaroma. Smaken er veldig behagelig. Melkesjokolade. Skikkelig kos!
