Bottle. Slightly auburnish brown with a large, quickly dissipating slightly yellowish brown head. Lots of bubbles. Pretty nice in the beginning, very sad at later stages visually. Aroma is caramel malts with soapy metallic twang to it. Taste is caramel malts though the sweetness is offset by tones of rye. Some herbal hoppiness on the finish, but very lightly. Rather watery, both on taste and palate. Aftertaste is sort of like on Retale.

Bottle courtesy Saxo. Frothy off-white good mostly deminishing head. Amber colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Some bad caramellic notes. Light bitter not very leasnt flavor. Short light bitter finish. Watery palate.

Bottle. Pours red with short tan head. Butterscotch and caramel. Watery and oily palate.

Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich caramel, malt and hops.

Pours clear brown with a low head. Aroma is nonexistent, some malts. Flavor is mostly malts. I’ve had beers that taste much more of mämmi. This is quite far.

Nothing in common with real mämmi. Still quite good dark beer, smooth and enjoyable.

Bottle 50 cl. Poured brown in colour with thick creamy tan head, which disappeared quite fast. Malty aroma with hints of dark grain and the Finnish delicacy Mämmi. Also some roasted notes. Malty, sweet and metallic flavour. Reminds mee of a blend of doppelbock and a czech tmave, shame it’s a bit thin though.
