Bottled. Hazy amber Kievari Savuruis has a sourish rye and smoke aroma. Lots of rye in the taste aswell, less smoke. Some bad unpleasant Laitila house aroma (vegetables) present. A bit different than from tap earlier but basically not a very good beer.

Bottle 500ml. @ chriso [ oh6gdx birthday bash tasting ].

Unclear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, smoke, plastic, fish. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111203]

(Draught@HBF, rated 2011-04-08) Very dark brown with a small, brownish head. Roasty, sourish nose with mild smokiness. Quite sour and burned, roasty and dryish flavor. Smokiness and rye well hidden, but some "Laitilan pea soup" present. Medium body, low CO2. Not very inspiring.

Smells like kilju. Cloudy brown colour. Sugary, sweet, somewhat bitter. Yeasty. Reminds of Schlenkerla Weizen.

Bottle. Pours a brownish, burnished copper with a medium, beige head. Aroma is rye with some smoke and tar as well as herbal notes. Quite mild. Taste is rye, herbal, some smoke, slight, dry, grapefruity hops in the beginning. Smoky and herbal finish. Palate is rather light, but good enough. A bit too mild all around. The rye is strong, but the smokiness draws attention away from that. The grapefruit is a pretty nice, even if again slight, touch.

Bottled at oh6gdx’s birthday bash at chriso’s. Clear amber, no head. Fruit ysmoky nose. Sweet with clean, hard mouthfeel. Lightly smoky with lemony notes. Sharp and simplistic. Not great.

Flaske 0,5l fra Alko Muonio med riv-av-kork. Drukket hjemme 3 Des 11. Dypbrun/amber. Høyt luftig skum som daler sakte og blir nesten helt borte. OK aroma med svakt røykpreg. Smaken er også litt røyk etterfulgt av syrlig bitter frukt. Litt tam, tørr avslutning. Sikkert OK til mat. KI=7

50cl bottle. Poured brown with thin white head. High carbonation. Aroma is smoke and ryebread. Flavor is similar, very malty, with weak smokiness and typical house flavor getting stronger as the beer gets warmer. Not very convincing, quite boring.
