Can. Clear, almost golden beer with a white head. Boring, grainy and lightly floral aroma and a flavor with a decent bitterness. Thin body and a decent bitterness in the finish. A decent but boring beer. Short version: Decent but boring. (070317)

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
500 ml can, kindly provided by yngwie for an informal tasting. The ABV was 4.5%. Type pale lager golden colour, moderate head. Fairly sweet aroma, fruit and malts. Standard pilsener flavour, fairly bitter finish, slightly metallic aftertaste. No masterpiece, but I’ve had worse pilseners. And the name is quite amusing in Norwegian!

Can. Damp, yeasty aroma. Very clear, piss-yellow colour. Taste of a very unclean and unbalanced bitterness, with a chemical sweetness. Long but not strong bitterness in the finish.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JUN 1, 2008 Bottle & can 0.5 l. Clear pale golden with a white head. Flowery, fresh and malty nose. Flavor is pretty harshly hoppy bitter, but nicely so. Good maltiness. Strangely no aftertaste at all, otherwise this would be spot on. Still a very crispy and good.

Can - Bruxellensis Festival. Pale gold, no head. Some pukey lager malt. OK in mouth, some goodish drying hop on end. Nice hop actually.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Canned - Bruxellensis - Courtesy of Dan Shelton. A golden coloured beer which is quite bright but pours with no head. The aroma is fresh and hoppy with some icy notes. The taste is on the sweet side. Pilsnerish with good hops. Tasty and a good example of the style.
