UPDATED: DEC 27, 2011 Can. Pours a translucent, auburnish, light cola with a large, but quickly dissipating, billowy, beige head. Aroma begins as herbal and floral, slightly metallic, but as it calms down, bready maltiness takes over. Mild taste begins as slightly floral, turns to slightly sweet, bready malts and finishes slightly herbal and with tones of liver casserole. As it warms up, everything, but the maltiness goes away. Palate is not very carbonated, light, watery.

Draft in Helsinki. Brownish red. Malty, but a little watery. Kind of mediocre.

Nice indeed, but a bit too watery. Solid choice among Finnish beers. (This beer rating was imported from FB and unfortunately lacks any further comments.)

Can. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are nuts, caramel, roast malt and hops.

Liekö tämä Kukoista paras? Se selviää kohtsillään. Olut on tumman ruskea, eikä omaa paljoakaan vaahtoa. Sen tuoksussa on leipää, hedelmäisyyttä ja karamellia. Maku on edelleen leipämäinen. Myös ruohoisen humalainen ja hieman makea. Pieni metallinen vivahdekin maussa esiintyy. Hiilihappoja ei ole niukasti, mutta sitä ei ole paljoakaan. Melko kevyt olut.

Much better than Kukko lager or Kukko pils. Not special, but good in terms of finnish food store.

Pours a brown colour with a small white head. Aroma of roasted malts with some nuts and metal notes. Flavour of malts, nuts, metal and mild hops. Light bodied. Drinkable.

Can as pictured. Faint malty aroma, you must sniff hard to smell something. Clear dark brown colour with white head, leaves lace. Taste is quite dry with some maltiness and light roastiness. Watery mouthfeel and thin body. The worst contender in the Kukko lineup.
