3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Beautiful orange hue and a pleasant aroma. Sour and a little lacking on taste. For an American Pale Ale, not bad, but tries to be something else.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a pale orange golden color with off-white head. Pine, grass, light citrus fruits, and just a hint of maltiness on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a nice balance of hop resin and caramel malt.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a decent hazy looking orange to brown color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was some light lacing speckling the glass nicely.
The smell had a nice blend of sweet citrus to bittersweet sticky pine lightly dosed with sweet caramel malts.
The taste was mainly sweet but still tried to get the piney hops to make a play however, they stay subdued for the most part.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was right on par for the style and for me - just enough harshness but didn’t go overboard.
Overall, good APA worthy of having again if I could.

On tap at the Weary Traveler Freehouse. Pale orange. Malty floral aroma and taste. Easy drinking with some hop kick. A solid APA to be sure.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a cloudy amber color with a strong scent of malts and hops. Has a long lasting head. Has a very bold hoppy taste to it but is nicely blended together so it’s not bitter. Finishes very smooth. A must try!

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Picked up a single in Dickeyville.
Pours a nice deep golden, almost an orange color with a medium sized, slightly loose head that leaves a lot of lacing on the glass.
The aroma is hoppy, but in a floral and citrus kind of way that is balanced just so to make this smell unpleasantly like bar soap. Some light sweet malt is in the aroma as well.
The flavor is nicer than the aroma, still a little soapy but the hop character is more defined and controlled. Certainly a nice dosing of citrus forward hops, a moderate level of bitterness, and a bit floral punch are dominant here. The malt character is not hidden but is no where near center stage, it displays some crispness & some rich horehound and mild toffee one would expect from a full flavored Vienna or Oktoberfest.
There are a lot of great things going on in this beer, not enough harmony of flavors and aromas for me to consider it truly great, but it is very enjoyable beer none-the-less.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours hazy copper with a 2 finger off white head that has great retentino and leaves decent lacing. Aroma is fruity, citrus hops, biscuity malts, caramel, sweet malt and a light mineral malt. Flavor is big on bicuity malt, toasted grain, light caramel, a decent amount of citrus hops, a touch of pine and some mineral notes to the finish. Palate is light bodied, off dry throughout and a little too highly carbonated. Not bad overall, the biscuity malts and mineral notes make it seem to be on the fence between American and English style Pale Ales. The over the top carbonation might kill the flavor experience a bit.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle. Pours bronze/amber with thick, frothy white head. Aroma of minimal citrus fruit hops. Flavor is more malty than anything else. Boring.
