1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
12oz bottle acquired in trade with Brigadier (thanks!). Poured a lighter and hazy straw color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of buttered popcorn (hmmm, not good) and some what grainy. Butter bomb tastes. On my way to the drain. Someone please send me another bottle and I’ll re-rate it!

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle thanks to Brigadier sampled on 2/13/07: Pours a clear pale champagne golden with a thin ring of white head. Aroma of sweet slightly creamy pale malt with a touch of mild fruity notes. Body starts mildly sweet and smooth with a slightly earthy noble hop balance. True to style and very drinkable, but otherwise bland.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled. Poured a bright clear golden with an inch or so of dense white head. Nose was very pleasant.. with creamy sweet malts, fragrant hops with an English feel, lighter, freshly-sliced fruits (pears and apples come to mind), and the requisite sweet corn. Ultra-smooth in the flavor department, too... sweet malts provide a nice base.. citrus hoppage appears at the edges.. light fruits are still there.. and corn is well-placed. Remarkably easy-drinking and tasty. Lawnmower-rific! Well done!

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
courtesy of abends.
pours golden straw with thick white head.
Aroma and taste, hoppy, some fruits notes and light touch of corn.
Creamy mouthfeel, with some citrus and corn that just remains way too hidden for a pre-prohibition style.
Not bad, just too light in body.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
Hoppier than I expected, still a pretty mundane brew. Pretty crappy beer if I do say so.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz. bottle from a friend in Madison; not sure where she got it. Pours a clear, pale yellow with almost no visible carbonation and a sloppy white head- ugly looking. Aroma of corn, grains, grass, straw, and some sweet notes- maybe honey and mixed tropical fruits. Flavor of grains, corn, cream, grass, straw, honey, and pineapple. A touch of floral notes in the nose and palate that become noticeable later. Light-bodied, with low carbonation and a watery mouthfeel. So easy to drink. If you’re doing some binge drinking, these go down easier than most macro lagers. If you can get your hands on a good number, this would be a good beer to use for drinking games.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Call me crazy, but this stuff was really good. The aroma is of sweet corn, fruity sweetness, and light hop bitterness. Pours a light yellow gold with a chill haze and a thin head. The flavor is sweet, corny, kind of bready, and a little fruity. The hop finish is crisp and there are some lingering sugars on the palate. I really liked this a lot! I am a fool for a good cream ale though.
