3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours clear gold with a huge white head...nice retention and lacing. Aroma is very mild with light citrus...orange...and earthy spice. Flavor is also a bit mild...decent bitterness with mild citrus. Mouthfeel is light/medium and the finish has an earthy bitterness...too light for my taste in IPAs. Drinks more like a pale ale.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Small white head with fair retention and lace. Lightly hazy gold hued ale. Nose is very tame. Light citrus, light malts. Body is light, low carbonation, lil metallic. Grainy malts greet you followed by tame citrus and pine notes, lightly metallic, astringent. Dry finish, uneventful.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours golden orange, almost no head. Slight haze. Nose is quite juicy: bits of grapefruit and clementine. Taste is much more subdued: light, tingling hops, effervescent citrus, hint of pine. Uncomplicated, unremarkable. Quite sessionable.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy, copper orange color with a small tight beige head. Sweet, creamy roasted malt aroma with a light citrus touch. Strong pine and citrus flavors up front fading into creamy malt at the end and a long, dry finish. on the full end of medium bodied with a creamy mouthfeel throughout and light carbonation. Really nice.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Thin white head and lacing on slightly cloudy dark amber. Aroma is grain, light swetness and light woody hops. Sweetish light woody flavor. Kind of plain in the IPA world.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
A-Hazy golden color
S-Pine, citrus, and nice toasted malt
T-The pine/citrus hop burst gets you right away...pow... then a nice malt backbone.. finishes a bit dry and with little aftertaste. Nice balance and hop forward.
M-Medium body...carbination was spot on.
D-This is an enjoyable IPA. Not too hop foward as some of the others out there...but very drinkable with a nice body. I am glad I have five more of these to enjoy. This is an enjoyable beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
GTMW 2011. Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate simcoe hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bitter flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid beer.

UPDATED: MAY 8, 2012 On tap at Argus BarGrille in Madison, WI. for afternoon, pre-GTOM crawling. Dispensed to a shaker with a hazed, orange/amber hue, abundant, off white head foam, and good cling to the web-like lacing. The aroma was light to the nose, but still a noticeable amount of floral, sweet fruit, and citrus notes, with maybe a touch of resin on the back side. Medium bodied, moderately bittered, and a nice balance of smooth malt and hops. Enjoyably quaffable! This year, before GTOM ticket sales, stopped at the Old Fashioned in Madison and had a shaker full. The citrus was more as grapefruit & lemon, the carbonation was lively, and the hop bitterness lightly lingered into the finish. Again, a good session IPA.
