1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 gilvanblight (686) - Windsor, Ontario, - AUG 17, 2012Redish tan por with lots of white head. Stong hoppy scent. Very stong pale ale hopiness. Very dry finish. A bit of spice. Not bad but not my favorite style. It’s alright but I won’t be buying again.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 wilderthanyou (676) - Guelph, CANADA - MAR 18, 2013
Pours a nice amber colour with a slightly sticky white head. The aroma has some tropical fruit, and citrus elements, bit of floral notes, then some lighter hints of caramel, maybe some vanilla. The flavour has a pretty malty base, accented by light citrusy notes, nothing very complex, but flavorful and easy drinking. I’d buy it in a sixer for like 12 - 13 bucks, but it’s too much money for what it is in a 750ml.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Viper666 (2763) - Quebec, CANADA - NOV 10, 2012
Bouteille 750ml.

750ml bottle, dark amber color, with a bubbly beige head, mild toasted, caramel, pale malt nose, with some toffee, faint weak floral lemon, orange citrus, leafy hop accents in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a soft toasted, caramel, biscuity, pale malty, light flowery leafy, grassy, ceday hoppy character with a toffeeish, faint lemon peel, minty, nutty undertone, leading towards a mild toasty maltiness, toffee, light lingering leafy, citrus hop bitterness finish. Very weak ipa! not at his best
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 scantron (63) - Ontario, CANADA - OCT 31, 2012
October 6, 2012 ; 6% abv, 750 mL bottle, BBD Oct 29/12; rock glass
Citrus hops dominate. Pours a caramel colour with a nice tan head. Good looking beer. Balanced caramel malts with grapefruit citrus hops. Resin finish is lingering. A little thin in the body but overall, clean character. Highly drinkable, which isn’t a great thing for an IPA (I think). Resin bitterness is a bit too powerful.
3.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 VerticalBaconStrips (1904) - Assat, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 27, 2012
A: sweet citrus, wonderful tropical! Canned Pineapple, mango, awesome
T: malty low in caramel, sweet soft bitterness fades, odd. Better. herb.
Drank at silver tip falls drunkfest
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 pushkinwow (1371) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 25, 2012
Sampled at brewery. Amber with a light tan head. Some resin, mild citrus, sweet malts. Moderate carbonation and body, some grapefruit, little too sweet on the palate without enough bitterness or dryness.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Frothmeister (393) - Ontario, CANADA - OCT 21, 2012
750ml bottle. Pours a reddish amber colour (with tiny floaters), with a minimal beige head. Aroma is on the resinous side of things, with grapefruit, faint tropical fruit, vanilla, and black pepper. As for taste, there are some pleasant tropical fruit notes, with a faint taste that makes me think raisins, some woody straw notes, and some citrus bitterness in the finish. A fine, thin bodied, easy drinking IPA, but definitely overpriced for what it is.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Metalchopz (1786) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 10, 2012
Big brown wine-looking bottle that does not look like other LB brews. Pours a deep amber colour with a big creamy, off-white head that goes down slow and leaves thick lace. Big hoppy nose with the grapefruit predominant and notes of caramel malt and soap (after breathing). Very smooth velvety texture. The caramel malt comes out more in the taste though. Mild bitterness in the finish and slightly dry. An IPA that is just a tad hoppier than average, but because of this, goes down smoothly and for those who like the caramel malt and its mild sweetness.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 HogTownHarry (5713) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - SEP 29, 2012
September 22, 2012 - The Golden Tap Awards at Beer Bistro. Bottle sample. Bright clear refractive coppery amber with a smallish foamy beige head. Smells like a sweet somewhat resiny APA - some alcohol, leafy (7-). Taste follows, but almost cloyingly sweet and a weird lactic tartness that came out of nowhere - floral, not much resin. Slick, average body, decent carbonation, finishes sweet and tingly, a little generic and metallic in the aftertaste.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 terrybail (436) - London, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 23, 2012
750ml bottle from the LCBO in Huntsville
Pours a really nice deep cooper with a good sized frothy head
The aroma is a little subdued for the style but still a nice hoppy aroma
It is a very smooth good tasting IPA
Overall a nice IPA but it is overpriced for what you get
