COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lake of Bays Brewing Company Pale Ale is a light-coloured beer that’s full of natural flavour! Sweet caramel malt tones are balanced by fresh hop aromas and just a hint of roasted grain. Enjoy!

#16 - This is a pale ale? Pours cloudy straw. Smells of yeast, rose, wheat. Taste is similar, too strong on the yeast side. Almost Belgium or a Hef. Not great for a pale ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pretty bland pale ale. Not much for aroma to speak of but easy drinking sessionable pale ale.

Rating #837 - December 16, 2013 -Beer 16 in the Craft Beer Advent Calendar - .Amber brown pour with a creamy white head that fades quickly. Mild citrusy hoppy with mild grassiness in the aroma. Mouthfeel is creamy, medium carbonation, delicate bitterness in the finish - but not overpowering, very balanced, but boring. Not overly dry hopped or bitter in the finish.

Gusher. Light golden, aroma is boring, slightly vegetal, slightly green. Taste is dull but overly sweet, vegetal, oxidized. Yum

Not as offensive as Coors light but zero flavor. I think water has more. Waste of time and money to pull the cap off this one. Day 16 craft beer advent calendar.

Craft beer advent calendar day 16! Bit of a Gusher here. Pours a slightly hazy though mostly clear golden colour with big soapy white head that settles and becomes more dense. Aroma is overly sweet malts maybe even corn, light citrus and grassy-chlorophyll like (likely too long of hop contact maybe even some oxidation). Flavour is sweet corn and light malts, light citrus, vegetal / chlorophyll off flavours possibly from too much extraction of the hops and overall a mild less than great bitterness.

341ml brown bottle. Gold pour, a touch hazy, small white head on top. Nose has some citrus and fruity notes (apricot? applesauce?). Taste has a bit of sweetness and some mild citrus, light fruitiness. Light bitter finish with grass and citrus rinds. Overall seems a bit underdeveloped and just a bit off. It doesn’t really come together for me.

CBAC day 16. Pours a ear yellow gold with a small white head that leaves lots of lace. Aroma of pale malts, corn, light dme and a light citrus hop aroma. Taste is citrus hops with some sweet pale malts and a bit of dme/corn. Not sure why it seems artificial flavored and the hop bitterness throughout the finish is a bit unbalanced as well. Overall though it is a crisp and refreshing beer just had better pale ales.
