Gold colour. Pale malts, caramel, orange & a bit of citrus. Moderately bitter. Drinkable but not my favourite.

This beer really missed the mark. I have no doubt that they used fine ingredients, but it just wasn’t for me. Bland.

ENG: 473ml can from Liquor Mart in Winnipeg. Poured into the tulip, gives little opalescent, golden color, with small tan head but a bit of lacing. Delicate citrusy hoppy aromas. A bit hoppy taste, mixed with malty and caramel notes. A bit soury too. Soury-bitter aftertaste, and there’s some alcohol presence coming up too. Medium carbonation and light body. Overall quite light beer, without any "fireworks", but very drinkable, refreshing APA
PL: Puszka 473ml kupiona w Liquor Mart w Winnipeg. Przelana do kieliszka, daje lekko opalizującą, złocistą barwę, niewielką pianę ale i nieco lejsingu. Delikatne cytrusowo-chmielowe aromaty. W smaku delikatnie chmielowe, zmieszane ze słodami i karmelem. Nieco kwaśne. W posmaku kwaśna goryczka i gdzieś tam też pojawia się alkohol. Średnie nasycenie i lekkie ciało. Podsumowując dość lekkie piwo bez żadnych "fajerwerków", ale bardzo pijalne i orzeźwiające APA.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a fairly standard gold with a medium sized soapy short lived head. Nose of grain, clipped grass, apple skins, and touches of hop resin. Very slight creamed corn.Lemon drops, cereal, pine, orange pith. Crisp carbonation. Finish is a bit metallic This is a very simple, fairly clean and non-offensive example. The price point is decent. It’s in my every day drinking beer category. To be honest, I’m happy it’s around. It’s fine for what it is. They’re doing some decent stuff over at Lake of Bays, however this is outside what I’d call an American Pale.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
471ml can into an English pint. Pours a clear golden with sparse white head leaving a little ring. Nose a bit floral, touch of caramel. Touch sweet flavour-wise, a bit of honey. A bit of creaminess on the palate, though relatively light; dryish, slightly bitter finish. May revisit as a session beer when it’s a bit milder.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Can from the LCBO. Hazy light orange amber pour with a one finger white head that leave a bit of tight lace. Nose is caramel and honey with faint floral hops. Taste follows the nose with a medium sweet start that follows through to the end with on the slightest sign of bitterness. Medium slick mouth with soft carbonation.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Really not much going on here. Some tolerable sweet malt and a hint of ambiguous dryness in the finish. I think I might’ve caught a tiny, hidden whiff of the faintest smidge of a hint of an aura of citrus, but that might be wishful thinking. If it didn’t sound so good in the description I probably wouldn’t give it such low marks.
