Pours a clear golden yellow with a big thick white head. Aroma is grainy and grassy malts. Taste is grassy notes with faint straw. Fairly boring

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Not the best LoB offering, a little bit lacking in some areas. Good looking beer, nice deep golden colour with a decent white frothy head that laces well. Aroma has a biscuity edge, with a little caramel that borders on being butterscotch. Lacks a little hop assertiveness that a pale ale should have IMO. The palate is ok, biscuity and malty in the middle with some ale fruitiness and a little bitterness (nowhere near enough citrus to be an AIPA) in the finish. Overall, probably not one I would buy when I can have Devil’s Pale Ale for the same price point.

A 330ml bottle, poured a slightly hazy amber colour, not much carbonation, thin cream head, ample lacing. Caramel malt and citrus aroma, Malty taste, sweetness balanced with moderate bitterness. Very drinkable.

Probably the best one they do. Find the batches inconsistent. Sometimes you get the pale ale lite that they’re aiming for; other times you get Ontario skunk water twang (think steamwhistle). I drank & will drink again -- and will drop by brewery few times a year -- but I’d like to see them push it a bit further.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Very mild building to moderate butterscotch in the aroma. A nice amber colour, not a lot of carbonation, no head, little lacing. A little cloying on the first sip. That caramel/butterscotch is there in the taste again, but a bit sweeter. A decent bitter finish. Little thin overall, nowhere near full enough. Overall, OK, could be better.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Straw yellow with hint of orangecolor with no head. Aroma of caramel and citrus with a sweet citrus flavor with caramel, and bread. Quite sweet with little to redeem it.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma is big on the caramel malts, it’s pretty much all I smell, that and diacetyl. The flavour is also completely dominated by caramel malts with the hops only making a breif, lack luster appearance in the finish. It’s not horrible, but I don’t see why I would drink this if I have a choice.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
473ml can. Labeled as "Crosswind Pale Ale". Pours a clear honey orange with an off-white head that disappeared immediately. Aromas of caramel malts, faint citrus, and a strong alcohol/chemical note that is slightly harsh, very much off-putting. The taste is sweet with decent malt notes, caramel, light fruit, woody and light floral notes, and hops that aren’t too spectacular. Think mediocre home brew.
