Lake of Bays Brewing Company Pale Ale is a light-coloured beer that’s full of natural flavour! Sweet caramel malt tones are balanced by fresh hop aromas and just a hint of roasted grain. Enjoy!

473ml can pours a golden orange color with a finger of white head that leaves some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is light citrus fruits with some mild caramel. Taste is a fruity and caramel malty sweetness with a light citrus and grassy hop bitterness. Light bodied with decent carbonation leaving a pleasant sensation on the palate. I was satisfied as this brew met my expectations. I recommend this one for a decent tasting experience.

Deep golden colour, white head, quickly fading, some lacing. Faint, but pleasant aroma of hops. Taste has quite an odd plastic metallic taste, faint bitterness, some sweet malts. Hardly an APA.

Pours a nice peach colour. Aromas are promising... nice sweet citrus. Flavour is a let down. Thin, flat, and watery with a hint of citrus. I’ve got a bottle of zombie dust in the fridge that will kick this beers ass.

473ml can. Pubily British in its quaffability but with a distinctly North American bite to the finish. A decent session ale.

Canned sample. Gold in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of grainy pale malts, caramel, orange marmalade, and a hint of lemon. More sprouted grains and caramel focused flavours in the mouth, backed by sweet citrus, cut grass, and white pepper. Moderate bitterness and medium bodied. A simple malt/caramel focused APA, but clean and serviceable overall.

Poured clear light gold colour. Seemed heavily carbonated, but had a nice thick head. Sweet hop aroma with a little grass. Medium body with some citrus. I was expecting more hop flavour. Refreshing and drinkable, but was lacking something.

smells like citrus(orange, lemon)from the hops with a little spice and some maltyness. It’s that but the malty backbone is of carmel taste. Heavy bodied. 6/10 cheer’s.

Pours a clear golden yellow with a big thick white head. Aroma is grainy and grassy malts. Taste is grassy notes with faint straw. Fairly boring

Not the best LoB offering, a little bit lacking in some areas. Good looking beer, nice deep golden colour with a decent white frothy head that laces well. Aroma has a biscuity edge, with a little caramel that borders on being butterscotch. Lacks a little hop assertiveness that a pale ale should have IMO. The palate is ok, biscuity and malty in the middle with some ale fruitiness and a little bitterness (nowhere near enough citrus to be an AIPA) in the finish. Overall, probably not one I would buy when I can have Devil’s Pale Ale for the same price point.
