2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Innisfil, Ontario, Canada.
Amber pour, but not a deep colour. White, think head. Biscuit malt nose, but everything here is faint. Not much pine; I want my Pale Ale smelling like a waxed baseball bat! Medium bodied, pleasing carbonation. Smooth. Defined sweetness here, and a little artificial. That’s a disappointment. I’m lukewarm on this entry; not bad pale ale, but not near the top of the pack, either.

Pretty light beer, light flavour, golden colour. Nice offering from a new brewer. I would have this again

UPDATED: JUL 27, 2013 Bottle. Grassy hops, mild bitterness, some malt backing. Solid all-around pale ale. RE-RATE: Knocking this down a couple pegs, as the hoppiness came off a bit stale in a can, but still solid.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
341 ml bottle from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass.
App.: Clear, fairly deep golden with a fair white froth.
Aroma: Nice biscuit malt, some light fruitiness, a bit of peppery, pine hops, toasted cereals, overall, straight forward and nice.
Palate: Medium body and carbonation, a bit of Pils-like smoothness.
Flav.: Similar to the nose, a bit more hops, the malts are a little darker, a bit less fruity and a bit more toasted, the hops remains leafy and a bit peppery, good; dry with decent bitterness and a light malt/mineral finish.
Not a bad offering from this relatively new brewer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A golden amber ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, biscuitty malt with light barley sugar and faint hops. In mouth, a classic pale ale with good biscuitty malts, lightly sweet, and nice light floral hops. Quite honest and good. Thanks probstk!

UPDATED: NOV 24, 2010 Bottle thanks to Cratez-Deep golden pour, has a two finger eggshell cap with some lace. Nice floral hop nose with fruity malts, some citrus.Sweet fruity flavours lead to cirtic bitterness. Medium-light bodied, nice lenghty bitter finish. Good stuff.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
[3356-20100821] Tap. A little buttery aroma has mild corn on the cob notes. Clear, light yellow brown body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Mild grains and corn in the flavour with a hint of floral butter. Medium body. Fairly mild and drinkable but boring.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. Pours a clear golden colour with tiny white head. Aroma is pleasantly citrus with light graininess. Flavour has light-moderate citric hops with a mild graininess. Some mellow bitterness in finish. Nothing too special but quite sessionable and a nice showing for a brewery’s mainstream/flagship beer.

Lovely, simple ale. Slightly sweet aroma, clear orange tinted pour with a small head.
Very smooth with a malty sweetness. Finishes clean. Great session ale and a nice taste of cottage country.
