[3356-20100821] Tap. A little buttery aroma has mild corn on the cob notes. Clear, light yellow brown body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Mild grains and corn in the flavour with a hint of floral butter. Medium body. Fairly mild and drinkable but boring.

Bottle at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. Pours a clear golden colour with tiny white head. Aroma is pleasantly citrus with light graininess. Flavour has light-moderate citric hops with a mild graininess. Some mellow bitterness in finish. Nothing too special but quite sessionable and a nice showing for a brewery’s mainstream/flagship beer.

Lovely, simple ale. Slightly sweet aroma, clear orange tinted pour with a small head. Very smooth with a malty sweetness. Finishes clean. Great session ale and a nice taste of cottage country.

Aroma citric , aromatic hop paired with grainy, husky , dusty feel.6-
Appearance clear , golden looking brew. Large white top. Good lace on walls.
Flavor and Palate : Medium light body. Golden malts , some citric bitterness at edges. Refreshing straight midlle of the road brew.

Draft: sampled at brewery 7/3/10: Misnomer; this is definitely a cream ale and a decent one at that. Taps a clear gold with a 2 finger white cap - fair retention, decent lacing, moderate carbonation. Nose is malty-grainy, light fruits, some grassy hops. Medium-light body, rounded mellow character. Flavor profile has lightly sweet malts out front then some fruity pear-apple tones and mild hop balance...clean finish punctuated by great hop-malt balance, light bittering right at the end. Boilerplate lawn mower ale, fresh tasting, easy drinking and refreshing

2010-07-14. Crisp golden yellow small white head and lace 3+ Modest bitterness throughout mild biscuity malt. Very light lemony citrus with floral accents. Mild aroma, muted hops and mild grainy malt. Very light floral notes to the hops. 6+ Decent but a bit too mild overall. On tap at East Side Mario’s, Huntsville.

Clear yellow pour. Slight diacetyl nose up front with a little bit if floral hops and some sweet malts. A little bit if apple and pear even a little corn. Semi bitter finish with another faint hint if hops. Just what Ontario needed another run of the mill pale ale. Sheesh.

Bottle [12oz] shared with HogTownHarry & biegaman -- c/o biegaman. Pours a clear pale gold with an average size diminishing white head. Aroma: Not bad, there’s actually some hops along with caramel malt. Flavour of light hops, caramel malt and an average bitter finish. Nothing exciting but for Ontario this is a pretty decent Pale Ale.

UPDATED: AUG 3, 2010 On tap at the Griffin Gastropub in Bracebridge. Poured a nice deep golden with a small white cap. The aroma has some nice hop presence to it that I wasn’t expecting, along with some decent pale malt aspects. Flavour hits with moderate hop flavour followed by some tasty grainy sweet malts. Finishes mildly bitter, nice crisp feel to it, I can kind of see what they were going for with this one. Really above my expectations for it and I hope the excessive ads for this brewery around the Muskoka’s pays off for them so they can brew some more interesting things.
