A brewer, a coffee roaster and a craft beer snob walk into a bar in Muskoka. The result: A rich winter beer full of coffee, chocolate and roasted barley. Perfect with a hearty meal on a cold winter night. Cheers!

Looks like a coke. With head. Very strong coffee scent. Dark chocolate and something sweet. Very smoky mouth. Smoked cheese, smoked chocolate cheese. Thick. Sweet. Rich. Heavy. Nice but very rich, a bit too much. Good but a bit unbalanced.

I thought this was quite good. Very nice looking beer that showcased creamy mocha head. Totally coffee and chocolate driven with roasted grains, raisins, and sour cherry complementing the base flavors nicely.

750ml bottle from the LCBO in Peterborough, Ontario. Deep brown in colour with a very thin beige head, very light lacing. The aroma is of chocolate, some coffee, light roast, smoke. The flavour is of roasted malts, some chocolate and caramel sweetness, light smoke, coffee. Thin mouthfeel, light body, medium carbonation. Finishes fairly quick, roasty. Alright, too thin though.

750 mL bottle shared by Kinz at the 21st Richmond Gathering, 11/1/14. Clear dark brown with a thin fizzy tan. Poor. Aroma of roast, coffee, green coffee, ashy notes, mild tart fruits. The taste is chocolate, roast, coffee. Hints of vanilla. Thin bodied.

Bottle from Champanes, this beer had a clear dark brown pour and gave a small off-white / light tan cover that receded to ring and small islands, the nose had aromas of toasted and roasted malt with coffee, a little chocolate, some brown sugar and caramel sweetness, the flavors were pretty much the same as the aroma except the coffee was a little bigger on the mouth than on the nose, the finish tasted like it had a little roasted malt bitterness and very little hop bitterness with some coffee flavor following, the mouth feel was light and thin and it had average carbonation, a so-so porter drink, at least it was drinkable unlike a couple of their other beers.
