Baysville now has a lager to call it’s own. Paying homage to the pioneers who carved roads and rails into the rugged landscape of the north, we handcraft this golden lager using select noble hops and premium Canadian malts. A crisp and refreshing end to a hard day’s work.

Aroma: very nice malty front, slight fruit but not much. Clean and straight with gentle mineral backing. Herbal noble top end. 7+
Look: poured clear , deep golden with minimal short lived top. 3-
Taste/Palate/Body: thinner. Straight grainy feel with mineral watery walls. Thinner end. Thin malt base. Slight fruity hints here as well. Add more body , lower husky notes and this would be very nice. When warmer this beer changes much. Gets slight nutty hints , body gets fuller to acceptable levels. Lager that should be drunk at warmer temperatures.

473ml can. Poured a clear yellow, with minimal head. A very light beer overall. Faint cereal aroma. Moderately sweet flavour throughout. No real bitterness. Short finish. Light bodied with a slightly oily texture and soft carbonation. Refreshing. Not bad.

Golden lager. Medium malt aroma. Taste wise mostly light grains, no hops. Light drinking beer but not too interesting.

Refreshing lager. Pours light golden with typical head. A touch of citrus on the tongue. Low alcohol which enhances the pleasant flavour.

Lubiere (9430) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 1, 2013
A golden lager with a thick frothy white head. In aroma, rather boring adjunct laced malt with light sweet corn, no hops, blah. In mouth, a sweet corn malt with mineral notes, faint German hops, boring.

Tessic (816) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 10, 2013
This ale poured a clear pale yellow colour with a minimal, white head. Scents include wine, corn and bread. First taste was thin. Flavours of honey and malt with a little corn. Finish is lightly malty with that corn flavor lingering.

can. pours clear light yellow with a small white cap, little retention. lightly grainy and pale sweetish malts, corn, grape juice, faint herbal notes, bit of metal. moderate carbonation, light body - tad watery, short, dry and bland herbal finish. drinkable, but still a DP.

2013-08-21. Dark yellow body small frothy white head. 3+ Aroma of pea soup has a lightly smokey quality that seems a bit like scorched malt? Flavour is a bit odd, mildly bitter throughout, sort if an odd pea soup like quality to it. Earthy musty malt character. Average plus bodied palate, moderate carbonation. Not particularly good. Can from the LCBO, Toronto.
