Celebrating the early Spring flowing of sap in Ontarioís maple trees, the 7% ABV ale is brewed with Belgian yeast, sweet malt, Noble hops and Ontario maple syrup. Notes of maple, hazelnut, vanilla and caramel compliment the amber hue, alongside aromas of cherry and spice. Caramelized apples and nutmeg are apparent in the finish.

Draught at Bar Hop. Clear gold with a lasting two finger fluffy white head. Sweet aroma, candy ish; taste is surprisingly and a bit unpleasantly boozy, but other than that this is sweet, lightly grainy and drinkable. Light body, mild carbonation and quick-finishing - a little harsh in the booziness, not much maple.

Lacks the complexity of a great Belgian ale but the maple syrup adds a unique but not overpowering twist.

Light golden yellow body, white head, not much retention, some lacing. Startling sweet corn syrup aroma, intense aroma of sweet breakfast cereal milk, vanilla. I wasnít sure at first, but I think I like it. Taste is also sweet, thought not as alarming as the aroma, has a touch of citrus. I donít really get much maple from this, though lots of sweet candy and malts. Unusual, not 100% successful, but works on some level. Iíd rather have this (which may be unbalanced and over the top) than some beer that wasnít even trying to have flavour.

Sampled at flatlanders beer festival. Sweet corn corn syrup and maple aromas. The maple is almost totally lost in the flavours though. Bitter and hoppy. Almost like they used maple extract in this for the aroma..meh.

750ml bottle. Clear golden body, small white head with poor retention. Aroma of grains, hay, herbs, honey, traces of maple syrup. Taste is on the sweet side: honey, malt, caramel, some medicinal notes. Meh.

Bottle to 4oz sample at Calgary Beerfest 2015. Medium gold, low white head. Sweet and grainy with sublte maple, more like a honey lager in character even though this is technically an ale (where are the esters?).

750ml bottle pours a light golden orange color with a big white fizzy head that settles almost immediately and leaves no lacing on the glass. Aroma is maple syrup with some hints of caramel and yeast. Taste is a maple syrup sweetness with a dry yeasty quality and not much else going on. A disappointing brew overall. Not getting anything from the deScription.

Sampled from a 750ml bottle, this beer had a light yellow gold pour and gave a very small hardly a cover of white bubbles, it receded quickly to a very thin ring with a few bubbles floating on top, this beer had a poor presentation for a belgian beer or any beer, the nose was maple syrup with light malt notes, some fruit in the background, syrup and brown sugar like sweetness, the maple syrup over shadowed the rest of the aromas in this beer and was too much for the nose, the flavors were maple syrup with light malt that was hardly noticeable, the mouth feel was light to medium, it had soft to average carbonation, I thought the maple syrup did not sit right on the nose or the palate and the maple syrup did not mix well in the flavor, I did not enjoy this drink.

Pours fairly dark gold, with a nice sized white head. Aromas are of yeast and maple syrup. Taste wise, this is definitely Belgian Yeast colliding with Canadian Maple Syrup. Strangely enough it produces a flavour exactly like candied caramel popcorn. Overall, itís an above average brew, but nothing I would drink regularly.

750ml bottle from LCBO. Toronto, ON. 7 % alc. / vol. Pours a dark golden colour with one finger of head which dissipates rapidly. It has a white chocolate and vanilla aroma. Taste matches aroma w notes of maple syrup which reminds me of the Tim Hortonís glazed maple donut. Light body with low carbonation.

Fabulous seasonal beer. Adding Ontario maple syrup to anything is great but this beverage is wonderful. The bottle said something like sweet malt, noble hops, and Belgian yeast. With the maple syrup mixed in it was outstanding.
