COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Celebrating the early Spring flowing of sap in Ontarioís maple trees, the 7% ABV ale is brewed with Belgian yeast, sweet malt, Noble hops and Ontario maple syrup. Notes of maple, hazelnut, vanilla and caramel compliment the amber hue, alongside aromas of cherry and spice. Caramelized apples and nutmeg are apparent in the finish.

From bottle. Wasnt sure how maple and a belgian blonde would mix but it seemed ok. Bright blonde and cloudy pour. Aroma does have maple come through well. Taste is sweet.

Sampled from a 750ml bottle, this beer had a light yellow gold pour and gave a very small hardly a cover of white bubbles, it receded quickly to a very thin ring with a few bubbles floating on top, this beer had a poor presentation for a belgian beer or any beer, the nose was maple syrup with light malt notes, some fruit in the background, syrup and brown sugar like sweetness, the maple syrup over shadowed the rest of the aromas in this beer and was too much for the nose, the flavors were maple syrup with light malt that was hardly noticeable, the mouth feel was light to medium, it had soft to average carbonation, I thought the maple syrup did not sit right on the nose or the palate and the maple syrup did not mix well in the flavor, I did not enjoy this drink.

Pours fairly dark gold, with a nice sized white head. Aromas are of yeast and maple syrup. Taste wise, this is definitely Belgian Yeast colliding with Canadian Maple Syrup. Strangely enough it produces a flavour exactly like candied caramel popcorn. Overall, itís an above average brew, but nothing I would drink regularly.

750ml bottle from LCBO. Toronto, ON. 7 % alc. / vol. Pours a dark golden colour with one finger of head which dissipates rapidly. It has a white chocolate and vanilla aroma. Taste matches aroma w notes of maple syrup which reminds me of the Tim Hortonís glazed maple donut. Light body with low carbonation.

Fabulous seasonal beer. Adding Ontario maple syrup to anything is great but this beverage is wonderful. The bottle said something like sweet malt, noble hops, and Belgian yeast. With the maple syrup mixed in it was outstanding.

bottle. Poured clear medium amber with a thin white head. Sweet sugary aroma, light maple hint. Medium body, prickly carbonation with a syrupy mouthfeel. Flavour of caramel malts with a touch of maple, has a grainy quality and a peppery spice finish.

Not much head and it fADES fast. little small carbination bubbles and not many. Light-medium sweetness with a nice maple taste, then a basic ale with a yummy belgian yest taste. Medium bodied. Nice 7%. Nce beer for the warmer weather cheerís.

Bottle - 750ml. Limpid golden body with average carbonation and a thin, fading white bubbly head. Malty aroma with bubble gum and some subtle maple hints. Its slightly misbalanced taste carries woody, maple, and some rotten herbs notes. Ends with a short, oversweetened finish. Disappointing.

Scent of maple, cinnamon, and yeast. Clear golden colour. Strong flavour of maple, spices, and hops. Subtle sweetness with bitter presence. Quite a tasty brew.

Unlike other Maple seasonals the Lake of Bays brew gives lovely aromas of Belgian yeast and the correct amount of maple. It isnít an overpowering or over sugary concoction. The only problem is it makes you lust for bacon, pancakes and sausages as food pairings.

On tap. Clear amber with foamy head. Aroma pancake and maple syrup. Sweet banana wheat maple taste. Belgian spice in there too. Had this with brunch, and it is a perfect breakfast/brunch beer.
