2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
The most noteworthy thing about this 4.5-per-cent alcohol beer is that itís the official beer of the NHL Alumni Association. Itís an American-style pale lager that would be best suited for summer.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
473 ml can from LCBO. Pours a clear golden yellow with modest-sized white head. Aroma is grainy with grass and some adjunct. Flavour comes across cleaner with biscuity grain and some light grassy hops. A cut above a macro lager but pretty forgettable.

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
can. Poured clear gold with a frothy but quick bleach white head. Light corn mash aroma. Creamy mouthfeel with a light dryness. Bready malt flavour, sweet beer with just a touch of herbal hops. A nice drinkable lager.

To make a short review it be like a maro lager if it didnít have a shitty smell and taste going with that smell.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Lake of Bays doing what they do best: making the world yet another lager & keeping hops out of the equation. Snarkyness aside this is actually decent. Itís well balanced, refreshing & crisp. Iím impressed. We need another lager on my LCBO shelf like my mayor needs another hit on the crack pipe, but this is good.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pale golden pour with a thin fast-fading white head. The aroma has a bit of soft sweetness and some clean pale malt along with a bit of earthy bitterness. A fairly dirty ferment actually with some definite higher alcohols as well a bit of lingering sweetness. Like a low-gravity malt liquor.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
473 mL can. Pours golden with a nice white head that leaves no trace. Cereal and biscuit grain flavor with a hint of toffee. Subtly sweet with a hint of hop bitterness. Full on the palate with a round mouth feel and moderate carbonation. Reminds me more of a Vienna lager than an American one. Not bad at all.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
473ml can from the lcbo. Clear golden pour, big, fluffy, sticky head. Nice pils malt aroma, good cereals, a touch of sweet butter (diacetyl) but it does not detract too much from the beer. Some nice floral hops, lightly bitter finish. Nothing mind shatering, but they nailed what they were aiming for.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
473 ml can from the lcbo. Golden with a small quick white head. Nice clean pale lager. Not a world beater but way better then macro garbage. Ontario is stepping up its lager game.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
473 mL can from LCBO served cool in a tulip glass. Clear deep golden with a full bright white head. Strong mash tun grains and cereals, grassy hops, honey notes, oddly sweet-smelling, slightly peppery. Medium body, fairly full effervescence. More of that mash tun cereal/grain, more malty than the nose, less hop character, still a touch peppery; dry with limited bitterness and a long grain and cereal finish with some faint grassy peppery hop notes. Not to shelf. Not bottom shelf either.
