May 6, 2004 Hazy, dull orange color...solid, 1/4" white head.
Aroma simmers with citrus, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, cherry, absolutely redolent with ripe fruit, quite nice.
Tasty brew, with a nice, hoppy play on the palate initially, before fading back. Well rounded, sufficiently spicy, with flavor of grapefruit rind continuing, sip after sip. Light, but satisfying finsh, medium-bodied, thirst-quenching and consistently delightful. Good job, here.

Nov 12, 2007 On draft at Lake Placid Pub & Brewery. Poured cleer, deep copper with lovely lacing. Pine and citrusy nose. Flavor is well balanced with sweet malt and bitter hops. A pleasant surprise.

Jan 1, 2007 My bottle said 46er Pale Ale, but I’ll rate it here because there is no other listing for the 46er beer. Poured a hazy golden/amber color with small white head. Aroma of piney hops. Full flavored ale with good malt character and a nice bitter hop taste throughout. Very enjoyable for the hop lover.
