Bottle from Capone’s. Pours medium dull gold with 3-finger frothy off-white head. Nose is coriander, pale malt, limey citrus, hops. Tastes pale malty, spicy, with limey citrus and a smooth finish.

bottle at brewpub. pours hazy light yellow with a decent white head, decent retention. soft wheat, light bananas and spices, hint of sweetness. average and lively carbonation, light to medium body, decent citrusy finish.

Banana taste made it a little too sweet. Texture was solid. Tasted at Brooklyn Waterfront Beer Festival, 6/16/2012.

Bottled version obtained on a recent visit to Albany. A decent looking hefeweizen into the glass. Medium orange with with froth. Classic clove and wheat aromas. Flavor is more clove and spice with some bready notes. Slightly fruity, but not very banana. Decent effort from Lake Placid (contract brewed in Utica).

Bottle, thanks beerandbeyond. Cloudy amber with a small head. Honey, bubblegum aroma, bitter and a little sweet. Sleek, light body, light carbonation. Eh.

(draft @ Tap and Mallet - Rochester, NY) Hazy gold pour with a thick white head. Standard wheat, banana and clove aroma with some mild spice. Dry and slightly bitter flavor with some sweet fruity notes and a dry wheat finish. Nothing that special but not bad.

(12oz bottle thanks to Cavie) clear gold with fine creamy tan head. Nose of banana laffy taffy, white pepper, cream, and butter. Taste of cream, ripe bananas, clove, and smooth carbonation.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a large white head. Soft musky wheat, sweet notes of wheat and caramel. Sweet wheat, a little thin, very light citrus notes. Soft and wheaty on the finish, gentle musk. Easy drinking and inoffensive, but not a ton going on.
