04.23.05 Tap at TAP NY. Dark copper pour, clear; small tan head. Sharp hops on aroma with peppery spice. Flavor is nice malt/hop balance but punctuated by a great dry hop bite that finishes each sip and swallow. Resinous. Very similar to SNCA. I’m sorry I’ve passed this over so many times in the past.

Beers named Frostbite are everywhere. Just once I’d like to see a winter ale called "Blackened Fingertips". This one has a nice fruit and hop intermingling with a smoothness and medium mouthfeel. The finish is on the dry side, with a good bit of citrus, plus a tad of apricot and peach. Very nice.

Poured from a 12oz bottle a brownish orange with a big thick tan head. Aroma was full in citrus hops. Flavor was full citrus hops with the wonderful grapefruit taste, a touch of malt was hiding in there also

Poured from the bottle a deep amber with an aroma of hops and a pillowy head. Very nicely balanced flavor, with the hops attacking the taste buds followed by a malty sweetness and finishing with a slight bitterness. A very delicious beer. I only wish I had bought more than just one.

Pours almost perfect. Nice medium dark amber that forms a thick foam head that hangs on for the whole ride down. Smell is there, good, jsut not up to par for an IPA. THe taste mimics the smell, very good, just not up to snuff for an IPA. Very drinkable,

poured from a 12oz bottle into a snifter glass A: A radiant ruby with a huge, frothy, pillowy head. Beer leaves massive lacing throughout its consumption. S: A sharp minty smell meets strong, zest lemon/grapefruit hoppiness. Add in some light bread scents and you have quite a pleasant-smelling beer. T/M: A delicious layered cluster of nutty, sweet malts kick things off, melt into robust citrus & grapefruit hops, which take you home to a balanced, bittersweet finish. Mouthfeel is delightfully oily on top of medium-bodied creaminess. Very well done all around. D: Beer develops even as you drink it, forcing eagerness for each next stip. Goes down real easy, too easy actually. Recommended for certain!

Very nice IPA. Rich aroma mostly dominated by malts. Flavor has some more nice malts with a restrained burst of hops on the finish. Leans to the sweet side.

One of the better IPAs I’ve had. It’s a bit darker than the average IPA and has a bit more malts than the more bitter ones. Still though, great hop finish and a bit of bitterness as well. An excellent beer.

in bottle @ GIBF, really nice IPA from a brewer that I am liking more and more. not overbearing, just the right amount of body and character, could use a little more citrus to combat the pine taste, but very nice.

creamy like a British ale complete with a creamy and foamy head that dissapates over a couple of minutes. sweet, malty, full of grapefruit but not harsh in any way. looks like tea. good chalky, caramel, oilcan flavor comes in from time to time. this is a real ipa 100% with no hint of alcohol it was a pleasure to drink. bit of butterscotch in the aroma.
