Beer of the month selection. Great overall beer. Malty, slight chocolatey flavor. Goes down smooth. Would definitely drink it again

Bottle. Woody brown sugar malt and light alcohol aroma. Clear deep chestnut with a moderate beige head. Earthy roasty malt flavor with a long herbal bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Draught at the Gingerman NYC sept 2012. Dark brown (with some redish notes) beer with a small creamy beige head. Malty aroma. Malty, licorice, some tar flavour. Rather boring thin beer.

Really heavy beer full if flavor. Has a nice aftertaste and a crisp finish smells great and I would definitely get again.

Bottle. Woody toffee malt aroma. Chestnut with small head. Oak, light toffee malt and moderately bitter dry hay hops flavor. Tasty.

12oz bottle from beer club. Pours deep red with medium-sized tan head. Aroma is caramel malts and a bit of toffee. Powerful malty flavor with just a touch of bitterness to balance in the finish. I enjoyed this.

Poured a very dark ruby color with a medium off white head. Aroma of dark fruit, malt, and chocolate. Flavor of caramel malt that becomes bitter quickly finishing with a dry bitter dark chocolate taste. Smooth light to medium body

Bottle. Deep amber brown color with red tint. Foamy off-white head. Aroma was crisp hop, sweet and estery, and sugar malts. Flavor was bitter fruity hops, with kiwi and berry, mixed with bready wheat and brown sugar. Bitter finish.
