The hops mix nicely with the malt to give it an alluring aroma. The strong hop presence gives this beer a strong taste. goldtwins (4086), Nesconset, New York, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 9, 2005 Deep and clear rosewood color with a small off-white head. Sweet malty aroma with a touch of caramel and vanilla. Great earthy flavor with a little chocolate and toasted malt riding a sweet malty backbone with just a little hoppy bitterness to balance everything out. Finish was very dry and very much in line with classic English Ales. My only real criticism was that the mouthfeel was definately thin, otherwise, I really liked this beer and I could easily drink far too many of them at a time. ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA

It packs a punch but they keep going down. Nice mix of sweet maltiness and fine blend of hops which leads to the ability to drink to many of them. Lou18 (1353), West Paterson, New Jersey, USA
