Bottle from jah noth. Pours clear brown with a large, rocky, light brown head, mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, caramel, toasted grain), light hops (herbs), average yeast (earth) with notes of dates and honey. Medium bodied, mineral texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Long duration, light sweetness, heavy acidity and bitterness.

Co-rated by Scraff... Clear, mahogany ale with a mid-sized, creamy, beige head. Very well retained with nice, creamy, thick lacing. Chocolatey aroma with notes of cashews, chocolate chip cookie dough and dark breads. The flavor, although well-balanced and well-bittered, is a bit of a let down. Smells better than it tastes. Light to medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Lengthy, bitter finish. Good brew, overall.

hops and yeast in aroma. Some bitterness and roastiness and nuttiness. So complexity and higher alcohol is assimilated. Amber colour. Medium mouthfeel.

Thought I had already rated this. 12 ounce bottle from State Line Liquors. Pours a dark copper color with a medium frothy tan head. Good head retention and decent lacing. Aroma of toffee, citrus and nutty notes. The taste is toffee, earthy notes, chocolate and a bitter almost metallic finish. Medium bodied. Good beer.
