Bottle. Pours with a dark red color. Very nice aromas of malts and some nuttiness. Flavors of malts, some hops and some metallic notes in the finish. Quite enjoyable beer.

Aug 23, 2008 Draft at the Buffalo Brewfest. Pours deep nut brown with an off white head, Floral hop and caramel aroma. Smooth body. Flavor is lightly hopps, with floral and grassy notes, as well as a bit of caramel. Nice.

Jul 29, 2008 On tap at the Empire Brewfest in Syracuse. Great malted aroma, something I can’t really place my finger on, almost an vegetable flavor. Very thick tasting and the alcohol is present. A solid beer that I would buy again. They also gave me a cool sticker of it

Jul 28, 2008 12oz bottle thanks to Secret Santa. A dark walnut pour with a light haze. Nutty, malty, molasses like aroma. Very pleasing. The flavor is very good with burnt caramel, molasses, and a light chocolate sweetness. Just a hint of alcohol thrown in there as well. A really fine tasting brew. Full bodied and overall very interesting.

Jun 18, 2008 Pours deep brown with a fine white head. Aroma is caramel like with an oddly vegetable and hoppy flavor. Almost salty. Crazy.

Jun 13, 2008 This beer came in my beer club. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark red-brown color with a medium sized tan head. The aroma was a lovely mix of sweet malts, chocolate and ripe fruit. The flavor was sweet and malty with a light roasty undertone and notes of chocolate brownies and ripe fruits. The mouthfeel was fairly thick and smooth. Very nice!
