2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Found this bottled at the Cashwise in Duluth, Minnesota. Clear, dark orange pour with a wispy tan head, citrusy hoppiness in the nose, balanced but not much happening here.

Thanks to Armin for the bottle. Aroma of sweet malts and aged hops. Flavor is more of the aged hops, sweet with a slight bitterness.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Thin white head with amber body. Fruity & earthy/grassy aromas. Tast is light & buttery, maybe diecytal but not to the point of being overly offensive. I can tast the hops up front, but the finish has no bite, which leaves me unsatified. The aroma got me excited about this beer, unfortunately the ending is disappointing.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle from theisti. Pours a very slightly hazed orangish/tan golden with smaller dense white head. Very subtle nose, more forward on the malt with the hops just adding a bit of orange sweetness. Touch of bitter astringency up front, light pine and citrus, definitely get the lightly toasted english malt character. Different take on an american pale and fairly enjoyable. Thanks Tim.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
(bottle) Pours a hazy orange color with a medium white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma has papery hops, light must, banana, cracked pepper, dusty yeast, bread, and some strong orange scents as well. Really unique for a pale ale, and to me it smells more like a tripel. Itís also unique in that sometimes it smells great, and upon other sniffs it smells off. Taste also shares some similarities with a tripel, as itís quite spicy and full of orange zest, grapefruit pith, light banana, and ends with a fair dose of dry bread. A pretty good, but also really weird Pale Ale/Tripel something or another.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Wonderful citrus, including lemon, aroma with a slight hop aroma. Pours an amber brown, cloudy, nice head and lacing. Malt is low to non-existent, palate is thin up front. Has an interesting citrus flavour and a nice hop character. A solid beer, refreshing and very enjoyable on hot summer days.

Pretty average. Caramel. Hay. Grass. Stinging carbonation but good body, not watery.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pour was medium golden with a fluffy white head and some citrus hop character in the nose. Flavor was definitely cascade hops with citrus and some spice along with a good amount of a clean malt background. Nice balance. Good Brew.
