12 ounce bottle. Pours dark amber with a decent biege head. Aroma of caramel malt, molasses, and grass. Taste is sweet caramel malt, molasses, dark fruit, and a bit of hops. Pleasant.

12 ounce bottle. I liked it, but it was a little one dimensional. Amber color, smell that started out big with the thin amount of foam immediately after the pour, but quickly went away. I bit of a syrupy texture, medium bodied. Tasted like caramel, sweet, and a little salty with a matly backbone. Again, my rating on this isn’t high, but I liked it a lot. There just weren’t any aspects that were especially attention grabbing, which can actually be nice in and of itself.

Pours a woody-red with a small medium tan head. aroma is cola. Taste is sweet, malted, caramel....nice baked gread notes. Feel is slightly sticky. Rich, smooth. Nice.

Malty and sweet with a nutty caramel flavor. Very smooth finish, strong but not too heavy. Slightly roasty.

12 oz bottle. Pours a deep amber gold with a big fluffy off white head. Aroma is sweet and malty catamel with a pronounced fruity character, some toffee and nuttiness. Flavor starts with an odd fruitiness, picking up some caramel and toffee notes before a lightly bready and a hint of spice in the finish. Medium body and a soft carbonation. Odd beer.

Cloudy dark amber with a medium frothy head. Toasted malts, caramel, and bread. Toasty flavor as well, with some nuttiness, sweet bread, and a crisp, balanced finish. Very full body with soft carbonation. Very well done.

[Bottle] Pours a clear deep brown color with a dense brown head. Rich molasses and toffee in the nose. Taste is of sweet rolls, nutmeg, burnt caramel, sticky toffee, mild alcohol and a faint hop bitterness. Impressive palate and mouthfeel, with a low level of carbonation. Sticky and sweet, but in balance as you would expect from better examples of the style. Nice!

Medium brown with fine carbonation. Nutty, alcohol aroma. Nice sweetness, smooth drinking. Light body with a foamy mouthfeel.

Red brown with minimal white head. Aroma is mildly worty caramel sweetness, with a bit of apple. Taste is a surprisingly hearty version of the aroma, with good mouthfeel. $2/12oz
