alexsdad06 (1056), Ohio, USA Jul 24, 2007 12 oz. bottle from the variety 8 pack. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a rapidly diminishing small white head. The aroma is slightly malty with a touch of citrus, grass, and sour apples. The flavor is underwhelming to say the least. Light barley malt, soft citrus, slightly sweet, and an earthy finish. The body is on the thin side. This is not local for me so its not an option. However, it would beat out most macros on a summer day if I couldn’t get to anything else. jbuzz (658), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Jul 23, 2007 Being from Milwaukee I really wanted to like this beer. It isn’t bad but leaves the memory fast. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA Jul 10, 2007 Pours a nice golden amber with a small beige head. Malty nose with a healthy dash of Goldings. Flavor is delicate malt, slightly sweet with a subtle hop finish. Very smooth and tasty. JAF737300 (791), Tampa, Florida, USA Jul 4, 2007 A pure mild ale based upon the purity laws pours clear golden. The nose shows a reasonable amount of malt and drives into a crisp flavor of malts and hops that are nicely balanced. CharlesDarwin (1822), Point Judith, Rhode Island, USA Jun 7, 2007 Updated: Jun 8, 200712 Oz Bottle. Aroma is a weak sickly malt, a touch rubbery. Pours deep gold, with rim of off-white sparse head. Flavor is a plain, very bland middle sugar with a nip of corn and bread. Smacks out in some sort of lemon confusion. A pale Mild? Not interesting. I wish the KG showed more and that it wasn’t so bland. Unoffensive. It tastes as you think it would, after looking at the label. Good for girls. Really pretty awful as a Mild Ale. cbkschubert (1945), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA May 2, 2007 12 oz. bottle from the variety 8 pack - Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a 3/4 finger thick white head. Has a fairly strong grass, herbal hop aroma. The beer is fairly well balanced. Light to medium body. Nothing fancy, but drinkable. Skyview (4007), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Apr 12, 2007 We received a half barrel from the Klisch’s for our company picnic. Pours a golden yellow color with maybe a slight haze. Small white head that fades very fast, even at room temperature. Aroma of light malt and citrus with a faint hint of hops. The flavor is light, mild malty barley with some citrus. Not a bad brew for a summer picnic. At least it got our beer crew to stop buying Diet Bud for our company picnic. buckybeer (666), Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA Apr 10, 2007 Light amber with a whispy white head. Not much going on here. Aroma is light malts, yeast, and citrus. Flavor is sort of a tart malt and hops. Light bitter citrus in the finish. Average.
