Commercial Description:
This recipe is a true craft ale brewed with only water, yeast, hops and malted barley, in keeping with the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516. We have designed it with a vibrant golden amber hue and a refreshing body. The mild addition of Kent Golding hops balances the generous amounts of caramel malts to give it a malty rather than a bitter finish. A special strain of California Ale Yeast gives the brew a slight hint of fruity aroma.

Bottle. Somewhat stale malt aroma here. Staw body with small white head that disipated quickly. Not much to the flavor. Some zesty flavor of some fruit was trying to tell me that a fruit flavor was going to appear but not the case. Watered down. Palateable not a drain pour.

A light gold colored body with a large bubbled white head. The aroma is floral with bread crust and some lemon zest. The taste has some light soda water quality with old lime flavoring. There is also a little bit of a sourness in the finish. This is a decent mild, but needs some more balance to the citrus taste.

Golden & flat with a thin, white ring. Aromas and flavor were mild sweetness & light herbal hops with a strong and nasty diacetyl presence. Slick, buttery palate. Not so hot.

golden color visible carbonation small white head. Very mild aroma of barley and wheat. Palate is well carbonated and well coated w/ a nice feel. Flavor is light wheat/grain w/ hints of honey and banana. Might be a good hot day beer but not my style.

Pours to a light golden body with a thin foamy white head with poor lacing. Slow visible carbonation. The aroma is lightly perfumey and barley. The flavor is perfume hops with a nice, smoothly sweet malt. Light banana. The palate is smooth.

On tap at the Brewers game (Miller Park). Poured a medium golden color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas and tastes of caramel, light fruits and maybe some citrus lurking in the background. Thinner body. Not one that I would have purposely picked for my 1200th rating on the site.

Miller Park - Brewers-Twins game, Milwaukee, WI. - on tap. Pours a dark golden with a decent sized white head. A wee bit of honey in the aroma, not much else. Flavor has some of the same honey notes, a faint twist of citrus, and some yeasty notes, but overall slightly bland. Mouthfeel - a tad thin. Decent summer refresher.

Gold. Nose a bit funky, slightly citric. Flavor is somewhere between horrible, godawful, and simply plain evil. Like overly sugared vegetables left to rot. Not good in more way than I’d care to mention.
