Commercial Description:
This recipe is a true craft ale brewed with only water, yeast, hops and malted barley, in keeping with the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516. We have designed it with a vibrant golden amber hue and a refreshing body. The mild addition of Kent Golding hops balances the generous amounts of caramel malts to give it a malty rather than a bitter finish. A special strain of California Ale Yeast gives the brew a slight hint of fruity aroma.

(bottle - 12 oz) Hazy golden color with a thin white head. Aroma is dry and grainy at the beginning with a light sweetness from some malts near the end. Flavor is dry and grainy at the start with a lightly sweet malt middle and a very crisp finish. Aftertaste is very mild. Refreshing.

12 oz bottle from Lakefront brewery (Milwaukee, WI). Pours a golden hazy hue with small white bubbly head that dissipates to a film. Aromas are grainy at large, a touch of pilsner malt stink and light hop. Initial has a nice bitterness up front, moving to some mellow grainy malts, light mellow sweetness, and some light pilsner action. Light lemony citrus. Finishes crisp with a touch of grainy sweetness, light hop, and clean. Good for what it is.

12 oz. bottle - $5.00 at Taco Mac in Kennesaw, Georgia. Bottled During the 3rd Week of October. Appearance: Pours a nearly clear, coppery body with, despite an enthusiastic pour, only a very thin, extremely short-lived, white head. Smell: Faint notes of spicy, zesty Noble-type hops mixed with mild tones of crumbled, day-old biscuits. As it warms a bit, some light hints of fruit and flowers emerge. Taste: Lightly biscuity malts with an equally light sweetness attached to it. Predominately spicy hop character, with a tiny bit of lemon zest, and an overall medium-low bitterness. Floral hints in the latter half. Finishes dry and a bit crisp. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium-high carbonation. Drinkability: Reasonably tasty and drinkable with a thirst-quenchingly low ABV percentage.

12oz bottle from BOTW. Clear golden pour with little to no head. Aroma is lightly sweet with maybe just a touch of spice. Flavor is light but similar to the aroma. Slightly spicy. Bland but OK.

Smells of astringent grassy hops. Taste is light malts and slight bitter hop flavor. Not bad, easy to drink. Nothing special

Pours a dark golden with a decent sized white head. A wee bit of honey in the aroma, not much else. Flavor has some of the same honey notes, a faint twist of citrus, and some yeasty notes, but overall slightly bland. Mouthfeel - a tad thin. would make a Decent summer refresher.

a mild ale eh? had kinda an off putting yeasty aroma. Grassy flavor, a lot like a pale ale to me, not that great.

Pours slightly hazy golden color with white head. Aroma of grains and light fruitiness. Bland flavor with some malt with a hint of hops. Light to medium body with average carbonation.
