Commercial Description:
This recipe is a true craft ale brewed with only water, yeast, hops and malted barley, in keeping with the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516. We have designed it with a vibrant golden amber hue and a refreshing body. The mild addition of Kent Golding hops balances the generous amounts of caramel malts to give it a malty rather than a bitter finish. A special strain of California Ale Yeast gives the brew a slight hint of fruity aroma.

Yellow color. Smell of bread, caramel, honey and malt. Taste of bread, malt, sweet corn. Not my cup of tea but still drinkable.

Golden color with a thin white head. Grainy aroma with a hint of hops. Somewhat malty body with a hint of fruitiness and a slightly tart finish.

Uh oh, the color of pee. Whatever it is about that, it just turns me off to the beer right away. This "mild" ale is pretty much the definition. Mild as hell. Not sure of the purpose of this beer.

A decent take on the style, albeit very mild...ahem. It’s just very light and smooth on the palate. A light biscuity texture with a bit of a sweet honey and fruity hop notes in the finish. Quite sessionable, but not very memorable.

Pours a clear dark gold with a thin off-white head. The nose is of sweet, light caramel malt with a fruity, floral and lightly earthy hop backing. Light to medium-bodied and soft with a slight mineral finish. The flavor is of sweet caramel malt backed by lightly bitter notes of fruity and floral hops. This one isn’t half bad; it’s actually a very serviceable session brew. I have to wonder if folks are drinking this one a bit too cold to allow it time to "open up". It’s certainly better than I was expecting given its score.

Pours a pale gold with thin fizzy head. Aroma is grassy hop, slightly skunked. Flavour is light malt with a nice fruity tone running through it. Grassy hop, light malty finish.

Bottle: Pour is a golden yellow with not much head. The aroma was a little bit skunked with hints of hops. The flavor was actually pleasant. There were some light hops present, but reminded me of a pilsner with hops. Overall, decent but not great.
