Commercial Description:
This recipe is a true craft ale brewed with only water, yeast, hops and malted barley, in keeping with the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516. We have designed it with a vibrant golden amber hue and a refreshing body. The mild addition of Kent Golding hops balances the generous amounts of caramel malts to give it a malty rather than a bitter finish. A special strain of California Ale Yeast gives the brew a slight hint of fruity aroma.

dark yellow, whispy head, sweet malt with floral hop aroma, nice light sweet malt flavor with mild balancing hops, almost a corn like sweetness with not enough hops to dress it up,

Dark golden. Somewhat bland, vaguely appley nose with light caramel. More or less the same on the palate. Slightly watery in the finish. Definitely not a beer for guys like me.

(12oz bottle, brewed 4th week of October) Minimal head atop crystal clear apple juice body. Aroma is medium sweet, orange, some spoiled milk. Taste is medium sweet, orange, grain, light caramel. Light-medium body.

On tap at the Brewers game (Miller Park). Poured a medium golden color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas and tastes of caramel, light fruits and maybe some citrus lurking in the background. Thinner body. Not one that I would have purposely picked for my 1200th rating on the site.

Bottle... Hazy golden ale with a mid-sized, fizzy, off-white head. Fruity, lactic nose... timid notes of peach, bread dough and biscuit with a whisper of buttermilk. The flavor is perfectly balanced, but very thin. Mildly citrusy and refreshing, but boring and empty as well. Light-bodied and fizzy. Short, crisp, clean finish. Not really all that good even for the style. Thirst quenching though. Thanks to headbanger for providing the bottle!

Pure copper color with a small short-lived head. Light caramel and earthy clover aroma. Flavor is semi-sweet and lightly bitter with a crisp dry finish that borders on being chocolatey. Smooth and enjoyable, but at the same time pretty bland.

Pours amber with a white head. Smells of fruit, toasted malt, some metallic hints. Tastes of floral hops, lots of toasty hints and a dry finish.

Clear light yellow. Bad grass and hay aroma with some awful creamed corn. Bleeeccckkk, gross grass and dirt flavor. What’s the point? Is there some guy who buys just this stuff and stocks his fridge with it? It’s awful.
