| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Feb 17, 2008 Cherry aroma, but not the sweet red cherry kind; seems tart. Copper color with a white head that flattened rather quickly. Near medium body until the fizzy carbonation leaves, revealing something thinnish. Whoa, it is tart. The cherry flavor is like cherry pie flavor without the sugar. That goes on into something like pie crust or bread. The finish is sourish cherry, perhaps a touch of hop bitter. If the cherry tartness is balanced with sweetness, those were pretty sour cherries to start. kkearn (1000), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 4, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours pink-amber, with a big, frothy off-white head. Aroma is fairly acidic, with tart cherry up front, complimented with citrus and malt. The aroma really doesn’t work for me; in fact, it reminds me of vomit. Thankfully, the flavor takes a turn for the better; sour cherry flavor is subtle at first and builds towards the finish. This beer has a ton of potential; i just wish its aroma were more appealing. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 2, 2008 Pours a clear darker amber with a reddish hue to it. The head also has a pink tone to it and it’s a lot of head that takes a few to fall. Nose is very mild fruit. Not much to it. Flavor is pretty one dimensional. It tastes like cherry fruit juice, but hey, this just happens to be a beer. Feel is okay. The liquid feel seems a bit too syrup like. The carbonation is good, but that is trivial to this point. Overall, I have to say this is way more a miss than a hit. Just tastes like a wine cooler more than a craft beer. Nice try, but unfortunately a miss.

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 14, 2008 12 oz. brown, longneck bottle. No freshness date seen. Poured out a reddish straw color, with a fizzy tan head. Aromas are of sour pie cherries, along with some biscuit malt. Flavors are of sour cherries, chalky mineral water, some dry malts. No hops to speak of. Thin mouthfeel, too fizzy for my liking. Decent enough beer, but nothing to go out of your way for. patrick767 (2022), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 25, 2007 bottle - This beer has a reddish color and a mild cherry and malt aroma with a thin head. It has a light, tart, cherry malt taste, a light body, and an easy finish with an unfortunate metallic note to it. Not too good. cheapdark (2016), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 4, 2007 Ever so slight cherry aroma. Creamy head, brew looks like a rose wine. Reddich pink. Good carbonation greets the palate. Very little bitter bite on the initial taste. At first you can’t tste the cherries, but after the first sip the mild fruity taste begins to manifest itself on the taste buds. Friendly and easy to enjoy. Above average for a fruit beer. Finish is easy going and well mannered. Nice session brew. Not bad, I kinda enjoyed this.
