Commercial Description:
An American style fruit beer made with Wisconsin’s Door County cooking cherries and lager yeast. The tartness of the cherry is balanced with the sweetness from the 2-row barley and the flavoring of Mt. Hood hops.

rather disappointed in this beer. the cherry tartness/sweetness (depending on the cherry) was lacking. barely there. like a basic lager with a touch of cherry added. truly mediocre in comparison to many other fruit beers ive enjoyed.

Golden color with a reddish tinge. Aroma is very grainy with just a hint of cherry. Taste has a decent grainy-malt flavor with a nice cherry tart taste. Nice feel with a clean finish. Not bad.

Poured a light reddish color with a lasting white head. Both in the flavor and aroma, this was just enough cherry to let you know it was there. It wasn’t overpowering, which I liked. It was slightly tart, which wasn’t really a bad thing. Good carbonation. I’d definitely have it again.

Pretty tart, really. Almost in gueuze territory. I liked how it was a touch cloudy though. Really pink, too. Reminded me of some interesting Cantillon gueuzes I’ve had.

6 Pack - Pours a dark reddish/light orange color, with perfect whitish pink head. Aroma is, of course, fresh cherries, wheat, malt, and crispness. Taste is same, surprisingly the cherry flavor is nicely tart, just a little sour, and not artifical or cloying - nice. Light-bodied and refreshing. Pretty great for a fruit beer.

Pours lighr orange/brown with a lightly pink head. Aroma is lightly fruity with some wheat aroma. Excellent sour cherry flavor with a refreshing wheat quality. Relatively light body, but a very appropriate body at that. Good beer.

Cloudy amber with a half-inch white head. Lightly fruity malt aroma. Flavor is all malt and cherries, slightly sour. Light, dry finish. Just ok.
