| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 4, 2007 Beer pours hazy rust red with a nice sized head. The aromas are of light cherries with some maltiness. The flavor shows the door county cherries even bolder but with the nice amnount of malt backing up the crisp mouthfeel. Taste is mostly sweet beer with some sour cherries mixed in. Admirable job, I think. bfeldmann (1042), Wilmington, Delaware, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 30, 2007 Hazed copper, foamy white head. Nose held soft notes of juicy cherry with touches of honey and breadiness. Soft tart cherry flavors are decently balanced by a light earthy bready tone. Light to medium bodied, fizzy carbonation, fruity finish. Nothing wrong with this beer. Refreshing and well made for those hot summer days... MrBunn (1527), Western, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 26, 2007 Updated: Oct 22, 2007Bottle. Surprisingly, cherries are hard to pick up in the nose. Maybe a touch of a tart character, but that’s all I’m picking up. Body is kind of a reddish gold; head was pretty big for a short while... a lovely pinkish color. Not great after that... flavor is bitter, tart and vinegary all at once. Apart from the disappointment left behind by the cherry experiment gone wrong, there is little left to be had. The underlying malt structure is weak at best, the hops is no there other than a bit of a grassy note.
***Re-rated 10/22/2007*** Not picking up the vinegar and other foul notes. Still tart and cherry dominated, but much better than the last bottle. Wouldn’t mortgage the house to keep this in stock, but serviceable.
