Pour was a nice burnt cloudy amber with a one finger off white head. Taste was grains and cherries with a nice tart and drying aftertaste. Nice carbonation and a very drinkable...even for those who don’t like fruit beers. Ughsmash (3999), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 3, 2008 Bottled. Poured slightly hazy medium orange with a short, sticky cap of white head. The aroma picked up dry, tart cherry dust and and grains with a touch of vegetal undertones.. more cherry candy (like Jolly Ranchers) with warmth. The flavor had lots of dusty cherries again with some syrupy cherries and wheat backing.. very sweet, short finish. Light-bodied with a dry, spritzy feel to it.. OK overall. phishpond417 (1935), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

Cherry flavor is prevalent but is not as pleasent compared to Sam Adams cherry wheat. Aroma is of cherries, grain and pear. decent overall. jbuzz (661), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 2, 2008 Pours a raspberry pink with a medium head that disappears quickly. Faint aroma of grain and sour cherries. Very tart cherry taste. No medicinal taste at all, which is my fear with cherry beers. Not all that bad! brewblackhole (1370), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 1, 2008 You sure do get the whiff of cherry, mixed in with the grains it takes on an artificial cherry nature, taste is a quick hit of cherry, again that becomes very artificial and astringent when your wacked with the following grain and hopping. There will be people who like this, but to me ,the combination isn’t working Eleventh11Man (7), Minnesota, USA does not count | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 21, 2008 I do not think that this beer is as bad as the other folks rating it. It has a nice subtle aroma of cherry, and a nice drinkable cherry taste. michael-pollack (2654), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | May 18, 2008 12oz. Bottle: Aroma of tart cherries only. No discernible malt or hop aroma. Poured amber in color with a medium-sized, creamy, off-white head that disappeared. Hazy. Some small particles. Sparkling. Flavor of tart cherries, corn, and barley. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Disgusting wheat and corn finish. Sweetness of cherries is not well balanced with funky grains. Drain pour.
