Commercial Description:
An American style fruit beer made with Wisconsin’s Door County cooking cherries and lager yeast. The tartness of the cherry is balanced with the sweetness from the 2-row barley and the flavoring of Mt. Hood hops.

[Bottle] Pours a hazy amber color with very little head. Light fruit aroma, with a heavier malt component than I expected. The taste is what I found rather unappealing. Astringent and artificial notes are quite prominent in here, while the expected cherry flavor is very muted. Sweet malts and light sour notes are in here as well. Decent mouthfeel, but not quite what I expected.

Crushed with Jakebra at the brewery. Kinda not good. interesting but overall probably a fruit beer to stay away from. No idea how New Glarus Belgian Red is so awesome, but it puts all other fruit beers to shame.

Delightful cherry overtones throughout. Fruity (go figure) aroma, sweet tasting. Cherries are not overpowering.

12 oz. brown, longneck bottle. No freshness date seen. Poured out a reddish straw color, with a fizzy tan head. Aromas are of sour pie cherries, along with some biscuit malt. Flavors are of sour cherries, chalky mineral water, some dry malts. No hops to speak of. Thin mouthfeel, too fizzy for my liking. Decent enough beer, but nothing to go out of your way for.

Bottle. Hazy orange with a medium, pink head. Aroma of sweet malt and cherries. Taste is mostly sweet beer with some sour cherries mixed in. Admirable job, I think.

Bottle. Pours a light amber with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, malts, and cherries. Flavor is light caramel, cherries, hops and a hint of citrus with a dry finish. Thanks JB

Tried some of this at the 3 sons sampling in Pittsburgh. Poured a light pinkish amber color with white pink head. Aroma all cherries. Flavor a bit sour and watery. Overal, not a fan. Would not buy.
