Amber, cherry color, not much head to speak of. Malty, cherry sweet aroma. It smells as if there is a little bit of honey, too. No carbonation. Tart, grainy flavor. Flat tasting.

ruby-amber body a clingy off white head. creamy, malty and sweet ripe cherry nose. creamy cherry flavor with some dry grains. slightly acidic, a bit tart. clean and crisp with a sweet cherry dominance.

Big 20 beer tasting at Three Cellars Milwaukee.Beer and cough drops is the best way to describe this. The cherry is a bit too sweet for my tastes.

Nice light amber color. Slight malt aroma. Cherries and malt complement each other nicely. An enjoyable brew.

Pours amber with thin white head. Aroma of a malty smuckers jam. Flavor was a sweet-tart version of the aroma, but with more malt and wheat presence. Thin bodied... get a New Glarus.

12oz bottle. Tomato red body, touches of pink on the outer edges. Small off white head, quickly fades and attempts some lacing but fails. Nose is very muted - cherry is there, but you really have to try for it. Otherwise grains and malts is all there is. Flavor is a bit better, tart cherries that get more pronounced as the beer warms, along with some malt sweetness and dough. Thin bodied. Mouthfeel is grainy, dry, champagne like body. There is an annoying chalky texture at the very end of the swallow. Otherwise the finish is pretty bland.

nose is inoffensive, really not much there despite the fruit. appearance is slightly darkened from ’pale’. flavor is quite tart, lightly sour. not much of any real malt to enjoy, mostly just fruit. this beer fails my ’fruit beer test’ -- all i taste is fruit, no hops/malt. still far from the worst ive sampled, but definately not something i would ever delve into again.

12oz bottle from a mix pack. I finally got up the nerve to try this one that had been sitting in the fridge for quite awhile. It actually wasn’t that bad which is high praise based on some of the other Lakefront brews I have tasted. Not really my thing but not bad for what it is.
