| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Oct 2, 2009 12oz. Huge and rocky slightly off white head, almost like overcarbonated homebrew. Aroma is spicy fruit, quite intriguing. Up front flavor is ’kick you in the face’ grapefruit. Anyone wondering what cascade hops taste like should taste this brew. Wonderful fruity malt flavor which supports and compliments the cascade. Only slightly bitter finish, which keeps things from lasting too long but still gives you something to chew. I really like this, will probably like it better a little cooler, say 45F. Yay beer! daknole (2926), Plantation, Florida, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 3, 2009 Look inviting, light copper and a nice fluffy head. Nose is relly light grass and malty grain, with a little metallic sugary hint. Flavor is pretty bland - watery mats, grassy cookie dough thing. I think a hop may have once been near the bottle, but didn’t leave much of itself later. Thin and ordinary, if not actually offensive. Lakefront - what’s happened over there?!? Pours a light coppery amber with a thin head. Aroma is coppery metallic hints, with some citrusy hops, grassy and grainy crackery malt backbone with some slight dms. flavor is also grainy crackery, slight canned corn, doughy, chalkiness- mineral, sharp orange zest, metallic, strange off marshmellow and vanilla as well. Crisp finish and somewhat easy to drink. hershiser2 (914), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 16, 2009 12 oz bottle from jcwattsruger, thanks John. Pours a slightly thin light amber with an unimpressive bubbly white head. Mostly matly aroma with notes of bread and slight grassiness from the hops. Flavor pretty much the same as the aroma with some slight metallic notes. Body is on the thin side and watery with average carbonation. Overall an average pale ale, decent but not alot going on with this one.
