Commercial Description:
This top fermenting amber-colored ale is brewed using generous amounts of malt and kettle hops. The trademark of this ale is its beautiful hop bouquet and taste that comes from a liberal dry hopping of the highest grade Cascade hops during the secondary fermentation. The malt firmness of this ale comes from the perfect mixture of two-row malted barley, carapils, and caramel specialty malts. The ale has an original gravity of 1060 and is fermented at 65 degrees farenheight which imparts the classic ale fruitiness to the brew.

12oz. Huge and rocky slightly off white head, almost like overcarbonated homebrew. Aroma is spicy fruit, quite intriguing. Up front flavor is ’kick you in the face’ grapefruit. Anyone wondering what cascade hops taste like should taste this brew. Wonderful fruity malt flavor which supports and compliments the cascade. Only slightly bitter finish, which keeps things from lasting too long but still gives you something to chew. I really like this, will probably like it better a little cooler, say 45F. Yay beer!

Bottle. Pours a copper color. Grainy and hoppy aroma with some citrus. Flavor is better than I expected. Good mouthfeel. Surprise.

I snagged this in a mix 12-pack while visiting Milwaukee. Not a bad beer, but it didn’t blow me away by any means.

Look inviting, light copper and a nice fluffy head. Nose is relly light grass and malty grain, with a little metallic sugary hint. Flavor is pretty bland - watery mats, grassy cookie dough thing. I think a hop may have once been near the bottle, but didn’t leave much of itself later. Thin and ordinary, if not actually offensive. Lakefront - what’s happened over there?!?

12 oz bottle shared by jcwattsrugger at dmac UFC 100 gathering. Pours a light coppery amber with a thin head. Aroma is coppery metallic hints, with some citrusy hops, grassy and grainy crackery malt backbone with some slight dms. flavor is also grainy crackery, slight canned corn, doughy, chalkiness- mineral, sharp orange zest, metallic, strange off marshmellow and vanilla as well. Crisp finish and somewhat easy to drink.

Bottle. Amber with an inch and a half of frothy head. Smells lagery, grass, some sweetness. Bland hops and malts in the mouth. Ordinary.

12 oz bottle from jcwattsruger, thanks John. Pours a slightly thin light amber with an unimpressive bubbly white head. Mostly matly aroma with notes of bread and slight grassiness from the hops. Flavor pretty much the same as the aroma with some slight metallic notes. Body is on the thin side and watery with average carbonation. Overall an average pale ale, decent but not alot going on with this one.
