Commercial Description:
This top fermenting amber-colored ale is brewed using generous amounts of malt and kettle hops. The trademark of this ale is its beautiful hop bouquet and taste that comes from a liberal dry hopping of the highest grade Cascade hops during the secondary fermentation. The malt firmness of this ale comes from the perfect mixture of two-row malted barley, carapils, and caramel specialty malts. The ale has an original gravity of 1060 and is fermented at 65 degrees farenheight which imparts the classic ale fruitiness to the brew.

Bottled. Hints of wheats and piney hops on nose. Flavor is mild and hoppy; not too strong on finish. Enjoyable, a good "sipping" Pale.

Pours a medium amber with a diminishing off white head. Smells of pine, grapefruit, green apple, apricot and bread. Light and watery body with a moderate amount of carbonation. Poor head retention and lacing. Nice flavor of biscuits, caramel, pine, grapefruit and bread. Nothing exciting with this one, but the body has a certain simplicity to it which seems appropriate.

Golden amber color. Smell of hops, malt, light citrus and caramel. Taste of hops, syrup, apricots, orange peal and malt. Earthy bitterness at the end.

Pours an amber and smells of strong hops. This is unpasteurized and down right delicious. A great session beer that packs a decent hop punch.

12 oz.bottle, "Bottled during" Mar. Nice malty beery smell when I pop the cap, always a good start. Color is closer to a brown ale than a pale, thin head. Smell in the glass shows fruity malts and some fresh dry hops. Taste goes steep into malts, Plenty of sweetness left over, barely matched by the hop load. A slightly different take on a pale ale.

Ahh.... the Lakefront Variety 8 pack. Such a great package. 8 different beers. I like to taste in two’s, so now I have 16 of Lakefronts finest. This beer is more that I expected. Seems to be their IPA, it’s more than a pale. Fresh (bottled the 2nd week of Nov.) and well received. Good job Lakefront!

Slightly hazy copper body, thin off-white head. Bready aroma with grassy, slightly piney hops. Biscuity body with light sweet breads, balanced by earthy, grassy hops. Pedestrian but quaffable.

Bottle. Pours amber red with a fine creamy head that lingers very nicely. Fruity hop aroma with some notes of caramel. Very british like in texture, on the lighter side. Initial malty flavor of caramel., that then moves into sweet fruity hop bitterness. Orange zest comes out in the finish, along with slight hint of tea. Citrus notes are a bit overdone, but otherwise very enjoyable. I would drink again. This would pair well with food.
