Lakefront Cream City Pale Ale

Bottle. Aroma is faintly floral, piney, with a discernible malt character. Pours a perfectly clear amber with a creamy, soapy off-white head that leaves clumpy lacing. Mild watery flavor with a light malt body and a piney bitter hop finish. Light bodied.

12 oz bottle-pours an off white ring for a head and copper color. Aroma is medium malt-caramel, herbal. Taste is sweet medium malt-caramel, herbal/slight pine hops, some apple? If trying to be a cream PA, an OK beer nd 3.0 If not, meh. 2.7

Bottle: Golden with good clarity and a white film of head. Aroma is of fresh bready pale malts and a mildly spicy citrus presence of orangey cascade. Light fluffy feel- flavor has light caramel/pale malt sweetness with a subdued touch of orangey citrus. Not enough bitterness for my taste- simple.

Not bad, but a bit meek, this brew pours a nice but unremarkable light copper, has a hoppy but mild nose, and lacks depth in the flavors. An ok pale, but it doesn’t impress in any facet.

Bottle. Pours a amber copper body with a white head. Light floral hoppiness, sweet malt lagered notes with a toast y malt character and a thin body. eh.

BOM club for April. Here are some other things that come to mind when I hear the term "cream city." Jessica Alba = cream city. Phils 2008 World Series Champs = cream city. Good brew.

Looks like the perfec pale ale. Dark amber with nice light bubbly head. Nice hop aroma. Light caramel with bitter hop bite. More bite than flavor. Beter on the nose than the tongue.

12oz bottle from mix pack. Another dissapointment from Lakefront. This just tastes off to me, somewhat skunky. Not horrible but nothing I’ll be drinking again any time soon.
