Poured with a nice head that soon settled. Good clear amber color. Hoppy malty aroma that is true to style. Good palate. Flavor is good except for hint of solvent. Finishes like flavor in the solvent thing is still there. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

ARH (314) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 22, 2014
On tap poured into a plastic sampler glass. The aroma starts out slightly skunky but then turns more herbal with a light grain and some grapefruit. It pours a dull, clear copper orange color with lots of soft, white head. Quite a bit of it is retained - a good covering remains throughout the drink - with lots of solid lacing. The taste is a dulled medium high bitter with a light medium sweetness. The dry, thin texture has a creamy carbonation. The medium full body finishes with caramel, toasted bread crust, and a light grapefruit peel. The aftertaste is fairly potent, dry, and lingering.

On tap at Brunzies. Nice floral hop aroma, a bit of apricot and grapefruit, sweet and sticky. Medium dull amber clear with slight haze, topped with creamy lacing off-white head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Starts moderately sweet with big hop flavors, sweet malt, ozone bite and nice bitterness. Medium bitter finish with lingering hop flavor and some residual sweetness.

12 ounce bottle - $1.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia. Appearance: Pours out a hazed, light coppery body with a near white head, small in stature. Smell: Bready pale malts with a bit of sugar and spice. Lightly floral, melon-scented hops with a sliver of fresh, glistening herb. Taste: The Extended Play India-Style Session Ale kicks off with pale malts housing a bready quality and restrained sweetness. Floral, fruity hops with a little green herbal hint. Subtly bitter. Remains a bit bready for the softly bittersweet, smooth finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-plus carbonation. Overall: Agreeably decent and would have no reservations about having another.

Slightly hazy orange pour with a single finger head. Nice aroma full of citrus and mango, grass. Medium mouth. Taste is grassy with citrus notes. Hints of grain. Tastes a little empty. Lace is present.

A totally light touch on the hops from a brewery that excels at malt-heavy beverages. Great for a summer day (or night). You’ll still get that IPA snap on the tongue, but it doesn’t last as long nor weigh you down. Very solid for the style.

12oz bottle. Hazy unfiltered orange-tan body. Foamy, respectable off-white head. Some pleasant delicate tropical grapefruit tinges in the aroma. I wasn’t that impressed the first time I had it, but I am really digging it this time around, and think it would hold up quite well against All Day in a blind tasting. Lemony hop bite sticks with you. Solid.

On tap @ Summerfest. The lines for this beer were LONG indeeed. Pours a slightly hazy gold color with a thin foamy head. Light aromas of orange, tangerine, some grassy hops and some malt. Taste is dry & mineral-like with piney hops and citrus definitely showing their face. Very drinkable (9) with no lingering bitternes to speak of.

Hazy orange pour with a 2 finger, creamy caramel-beige head that has great retention and leaves a little lacing. Aroma is big on bright juicy citrus, with some mineral notes, toast, tree fruit and a little passion fruit thrown in for good measure. Flavor is light and fruity up front, with a little mineral and some tree fruit, then nice, juicy citrus, then nice cereal and toasty notes and pine and slightly more bitter citrus to the finish. Light body with a thing and off dry, but creamy entry light, blanketing carbonation and slightly more dry finish. Really good stuff that I would love to drink alot of.

A - pours hazy dusty dishwater brown with no real head. S - clean simple nose of pine needle, pine resin, soap, resin, dry grasses and a caramel and biscuit malts. M - medium body with a thin but nice palate. Bitter and a bit wet. T - nice ISA. Light pine, dried lemon zest, soap, dry grasses. Malty palate. End is dry and bitter. O - nice attempt but too malty and the tastes a but muddled. Not as clean as I'd like.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazed orangish amber with a medium white head. Decent head retention and decent lacing. Aroma of citrus peel and resin. Flavor is mildly bitter with some citrus bitterness, a touch of malt backing. Nice, lively carbonation, with a light bodied mouthfeel. This is somewhat spritzy and zippy on the palate. It needs a more pronounced hop varietal though. Overall, OK.
