Poured with a nice head that soon settled. Good clear amber color. Hoppy malty aroma that is true to style. Good palate. Flavor is good except for hint of solvent. Finishes like flavor in the solvent thing is still there. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy orange amber color with a small white head. Sweet orange citrus and pine aroma. Sweet juicy citrus and pine flavor with creamy malt rounding it out. Medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry herbal, caramel finish. This is one of the best that Iíve had from Lakefront in a long time.

This is a decent session IPA on the lower end of the ABV range for the style, which I always appreciate. Itís slightly cloudy orange in the glass w/ a bit of fine particulate evenly distributed throughout. Its head is white and foamy, relatively small but long-lived. The hop character in the nose is sweet orange peel up front w/ some pine needle and lemon in the background. This might be just a hair on the bland side for my tastes but it is well put together overall. There is a touch of honey-like malt sweetness but itís mostly pretty dry and the citrus character implies a bit of tartness. Its carbonation is pretty mild which helps create the impression of full body in a light brew. It finishes w/ a drying astringent note and a touch of earthy hop bitterness. Overall, this gets the job done for the style but it is honestly nothing special.

Bottle pour slight hazy gold with moderate white head. Nose citrus and floral hop. Taste light bitter up front, with some floral and grassy hop. Light bitter finish. The flavors of the nose donít all come through in the flavor.

Pours a slightly hazy amber with a fairly thick eggshell head. Crisp, malty aroma has firm hoppy and fruity side tones, the latter mostly citrus but with some apple. Flavor is mainly hoppy, mostly woody, supported by fruity and subtle malty undertones. This is definitely a sessionable brewski. Texture is fairly firm, if not too fizzy, leaving a hoppy and Mandarin orange finish. Go for the extended play!

Bottle - small foamy head, medium gold color, good size citrusy hop aroma and flavor, mild malt balance, somewhat of a dry finish, not bad overall
