3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours a very dark amber color with a moderate off-white head. Nice little malty nose to it without being too strong. A little bitter in the malty-off-putting way that seems a little earthy, but not bad.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle pours a clear amber with a no head. Aroma is very sweet caramel, berries, light hops, and lemon dish soap. Taste has some upfront bitter hops into caramel malts and fruits and finishing with more bitter hops. Doesn’t taste as bad as it looks or smells.

Nice aroma of pine and hops. Deep red in color with tannish white head. Nice mixture of hops, spice and some malt with hops being dominant. Nice finish. Closer description would be an i.p.a.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Deep hazy plum red with a thick and steady off white head. Nose of citrus, lemon, pine, grass, red fruits and malts. A little fruit punch like with the plastic included. Flavor is lightly tart cranberry/cherry upfront that turns soapy rather quickly and ends bitter and lightly chemically. Strange soapy like mouthfeel as well, kinda watery, and plastic-y. meh.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle pour, somewhat cloudy amber red. In-yer-face citrus and malty aromas, really need to pour into the glass and don’t serve overly cold or the maltiness is hidden. Aroma doesn’t escape the bottle well enough to do it justice. I did pour it too cold, and noticed improving malt balance as it warmed, just seemed too bitter and crisp when it was too cold. A "sessionable" red ale and at 6.5% you’re in trouble because it tastes so darned good you’re left wanting another, and another, and . . . .
