2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
22oz bomber poured into a shaker. Pours a lightly cloudy dark amber with about 2 fingers of off-white head. Aroma of lots of bready malt with a good bit of citrus and resin hops. Taste is light bitter. Some grassy hops and bready malt. Medium bodied with a thin texture. Flat carbonation and not much of a finish. Overall, not bad. Nothing I would seek out.

Disappointing. The label is nice. Had a slightly unpleasant aftertaste. Would not avoid but would not request.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From a bottle poured a dark amber color with a good amount of head. Nice malty hoppy flavor with a quick finish.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Binnys sampler pack...pours foggy red / amber...thin head. Quite a hoppy nose for a red...nose is more IPAish...which I like. Some malt to take edge off...but not too much. Tasty...will do more

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
im not a hophead, so i personally didnt care for this much. that being said, for a hoppy red ale, this is quite good. if you want a pale/ipa with more malt and caramel notes, go for this.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours out a cloudy medium amber with a frothy tan head. Light malt-fruit aromas. Body is medium. Flavor is well-balanced sweet amber malts and some good spicy hopness. Finish is clean with a lingering hoppy-malt profile. A very decent amber.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle-- boy oh boy, this Lakefront variety pack keeps getting better and better! Kind of a burnt red color with medium lacing. The aroma is surprising hoppy with some malt. Taste is hoppy too with malt rounding off the edges. I was expecting more red ale than IPA, but Iím very pleased with the beer.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma is grapefruit hops forward. Appearance is redish brown, very little carbonation and very hazy. Taste is hops forward. Grapefruit aroma hopping and a firm bitterness drive this beer. There is plenty of malt present as well, but still a hoppy beer first. Palate is medium full. Bitterness lingers. Overall a good beer. The hops in this are nice. Nothing unique, but very drinkable.
