Pure Milwaukee Genius Series 3: Inspired by the energy and audacity of the Fearless Fixed Gear Courier, Lakefront ran smack into this arresting creation. It’s RED, it’s BOLD and it tastes DAMN GOOD. We could go on and on about it, but the fact is, you have one in your hand right now, so crack it open yourself. This one’s got an ATTITUDE.

Pours a cloudy orange/amber with a substantial off white head. Aroma is pine and malt. Smooth bready taste of sweet malt, caramel and light citrus and pine, a little woody also. Interesting, not as hoppy bitter as I expected. Alcohol well hidden. Decent brew.

Bottle @ home. Hazy, dark reddish brown appearance with a big bubbly, tan head. Lots of pine, caramel, light toffee, mild floral hoppy aroma. Pretty carbonated. Bitter, piney, organic, grassy hoppy, rich caramel toffee malty flavor. Slightly syrupy. Bleh.

This beer pours a dark red orange color with a decent white head. There are caramel notes on both the palate and the nose. The hoppiness of this beer is quite noticeable and stronger than most red ales. A little different for it’s style but overall a well balanced beer.

12oz bottle from a buddy at work, thanks. Pours a slightly hazy reddish-amber color with a large, lacey off-white head. Looks excellent. Aroma is nicely hoppy - very citrusy and a little earthy - along with sweet malt. Surprisingly good smelling. Flavor is very hop-forward, with orange, grapefruit, earth, and pine, with some sweet caramel malt. Nice palate, rough with hops with medium body. Solid stuff.

The aroma is very malty and hoppy with a perfect balance. There is both caramel and citrus. The appearance is deep amber with a medium head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. A great beer.

a flavorful beer that focus on an earthy taste. the beer brings a nice balance of hops and malts and has a nice smooth flavor with noting overpowering yet can be enjoyed on many levels. soft mouthfeel and not to harsh on the carbonation. good stuff.

Bottle poured at the Lakefront Brewery after taking the tour. This beer was fantastic. It’s has a heavy fog red appearance and has strong citrus, hop and multi-flavor appeal. I highly recommend this for the IPA lovers out there.

(22oz bomber thanks to bu11zeye) bright orange with a thin film of fine tan bubbles. Nose is quite hoppy for a red ale, ruby red grapefruit, agave. Taste of grapefruit, pine, herbal, and crackers. Too bitter for my liking. A bit syrupy in the finish as well.

Bottle.
Pours a deep, muddy amber with a nose of hoppy strawberry and slight biscuit. Flavor is a slightly floral grapefruit rind with a finish of bitter orange rind. Nice and oily on the tongue. Great beer.
