Bottle poured at the Lakefront Brewery after taking the tour. This beer was fantastic. Itís has a heavy fog red appearance and has strong citrus, hop and multi-flavor appeal. I highly recommend this for the IPA lovers out there.

(22oz bomber thanks to bu11zeye) bright orange with a thin film of fine tan bubbles. Nose is quite hoppy for a red ale, ruby red grapefruit, agave. Taste of grapefruit, pine, herbal, and crackers. Too bitter for my liking. A bit syrupy in the finish as well.

Bottle.
Pours a deep, muddy amber with a nose of hoppy strawberry and slight biscuit. Flavor is a slightly floral grapefruit rind with a finish of bitter orange rind. Nice and oily on the tongue. Great beer.

Pours a hazy rust color; thick fluffy head. Citrus hop aroma, smells like an IPA. The hops is the first thing that you notice; citrusy and piney...this is followed by some sweet yet light malt; some caramel, rye and a hint of fruitiness. This is sort of an IPA Light. Plenty of hops and good balancing malt; a bit lighter than it looks. Drinkable and well done.

Bottle from Cracked Kette. Dark amber with thin head. Nose is very hoppy. Taste is hoppy and syrupy with lots of citrus. Nice texture. Well done with man IPA-like attributes.

Bottle. Poured a clear amber color. The head was tall and light tan with a slight orange tint. Good retention. Pleasant aroma of pine and green leafy hop accented by spicy malt and toffee. Medium bodied and delicately sweet. Spicy malt, with toffee and subdued molasses notes topped off by a grassy hop flavor.

22oz bottle poured into an English Pint at 45į. Color is a lighter amber with mellow carbonation and a tall rocky head. Aroma is a nice floral hop scent with some roasted malt and a touch of citrus. It has a lighter medium body that gives a light crisp mouth feel. Flavor is light roasted malt with spicy hops coming in with pepper and lemon and an easy bitterness. After taste is clean with the spicy flavors handing on in the end. Overall its a well done Amber, its light well balanced and easy to drink.

Glass at the brewery. Pours a amber-copper color with a medium off-white head that has fair retention. The aroma is pine and citrus. Taste is pine, grapefruit, walnuts, caramel and roasted barley. The palate is full and smooth with lively carbonation. Finishes long with lingering biter hops and barley. Overall: Very fine amber.

Amber with an off white head. Big hoppy citrus aroma with lots of grapefruit. Flavor is mildly sweet and medium bitter. Has a great grapefruit taste to it. Nice solid body, and fantastic session beer. The citrus is outstanding.

When I first got this, I got it because it was a red ale and I happen to ride a fixed gear bike. I opened the bottle and INSTANTLY smelled it from about 2 feet away. Incredible smell. As soon as I took a drink I noticed it was super smooth but went down like a bitter IPA. It caught me off guard. However, this beer is pretty righteous! I am still drinking it and am getting reacquainted with the hops. Sip after sip it continues to be the same! begining to end it knocks you around. Great beer!
