3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
"On tap yesterday at the Old Fashioned: Pours a dark copper colour with a decent sized head. Aroma is biscuity. Taste is toasty and well balanced. Lots of fruit midpalate, like a fruit salad. But its hard to ignore the breadiness. Just saw these in bottles the other day, and I think i might pick some up! Re-rate 13/4/10: Man I donít remember having this , but it was only a week and a half ago. holy smokes. I thought it was a different one. Anyway, taste is great, and im bumping it up a bit. Super heady bier, hearty and hoppy, and alcohol is easily concealed."

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle courtesy bu11zeye. Fairly clear copper appearance with a white foamy head. Aroma is caramel malt sweetness with a pretty big hopped aroma. Fresh sappy hops. Flavor is dry hops with a large bitter finish. Slight malty sweetness but it is mainly overpowered by the dry earthy hops.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
This was one of those moments in beer hunting, tasting, experiencing, that will be very memorable, walked into the beer store and immediately saw this on the shelf, glided over to examine, and was love at first sight. Waited a day to taste while it cooled in the fridge to the right temperature. Even though my expectations were high, this exceeded all of them and qualmed my worries that it would be a dissapointment. Verging on the "too much to handle" list, this stayed on the right side of that line, and with its hop bomb character combined with enough malt note to balance, this was absolutely delicious. One of the best finds so far this year.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
The Dan Journal #428. Tasted 11/20/10. 22ox bomber. Filtered with an amber bronze hue. Brainy off-white head. Aromas of citrus candy, light toast and very subtle esters. Medium bodied with a good balance between the malts and hops. Both aspects of the palate are noticeable and tasty. The toasty, caramel malts really play well with the soapy, citrus hops. Not the most complex of beers, but a good drinker!
