Pure Milwaukee Genius Series 3: Inspired by the energy and audacity of the Fearless Fixed Gear Courier, Lakefront ran smack into this arresting creation. It’s RED, it’s BOLD and it tastes DAMN GOOD. We could go on and on about it, but the fact is, you have one in your hand right now, so crack it open yourself. This one’s got an ATTITUDE.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured an orange-brown color with a medium sized fluffy beige head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was tangy, fruity and had notes of pine and grapefruit. The flavor was bitter and tangy with pine, grapefruit, bread and hints of caramel and pepper. Medium length finish. Medium body. Well done.

Bottle. Poured out clear ruby, white head, good carbonation. Piney, fruity, and fresh, some bite but very smooth all around. I’m not an IPA-lover, but this something quite different. Gorgeous color! Great taste!

Bottle. Pours ruby with a piney aroma. I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Good balance of malt and piney hops. The high abv sneaks up on you.

12 oz. bottle thanks to Kaylen. Appearance: 2 fingers tan head, ruby red color, clear, good lacing. Aroma: caramel, grass, citrus. Palate: medium body, sticky texture, light carbonation, light alcohol. Taste: sweet caramel into light lemongrass bitterness. Overall, very smooth, bitterness is nice, very drinkable! Surprisingly good.

An alright amber ale. I would consider this an American Strong. Tastes just like Stone Arrogant Bastard. Strong roasted malt and with a heavy hop backbone. Hops are earthy and brown. Medium carbonation. Alright beer.

brownish haze in color, defined hoppy aroma, lots o lacing. a sort of alternative low end IPA if you will. Or a sharply hopped amber. yeah thats it.

Bottle at home. Pours amberish gold with a thin quickly dissipating off white head. Aroma is some floral, some caramel. Flavor is a bit harsh. Bitterness is harsh. Some cardboard. Aroma doesn’t follow through. Overall, a decent beer, though.

A well-crafted beer. Red IPA with a nice look but low aroma punch. Smooth start with slight bitter finish. Not every complex but a nice beer. Draft in Chicago (emerald loop) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
