Pure Milwaukee Genius Series 3: Inspired by the energy and audacity of the Fearless Fixed Gear Courier, Lakefront ran smack into this arresting creation. It’s RED, it’s BOLD and it tastes DAMN GOOD. We could go on and on about it, but the fact is, you have one in your hand right now, so crack it open yourself. This one’s got an ATTITUDE.

Bottle. Picked up in a variety pack after a brewery tour at Lakefront (highly recommended). Pours dark cloudy red with a thick head. Nice aroma with tones of citrus. Good lacing and an enjoyable finish. Overall, a very enjoyable red ale, would buy again.

On tap at the Spotted Fox in St. Charles, IL. Nice deep amber color with an enjoyable hoppy finish. A very good American red ale from a brewery with the best tour. A must visit if in Milwaukee.

Had on tap in NZ. Nice dark copper orange hue. Bitter caramel and over ripe stone fruit on the nose. Apricot, Orange slight unbalanced hop bitterness (but perhaps a lil cold) on the palate but a nice big american amber ale when all is said.

Dark cloudy red color. Not much in the area of aroma. It does have a pleasant ale flavor. Very enjoyable beer.

Bottle. Pours mahogany with nice mocha head and good lacing. Smell is sweet candy citrus hops and caramel malts. Pretty nice. Taste reveals a hint of brown paper bag (unfortunately) that leads itself to majority caramel malts and some slightly faded citrus hops. Ok, but I may have had a slightly old bottle. I hate to ding it for that, but I expect fresh my score would have been a tad higher.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2014 An enjoyable brew that is both full of flavor and well balanced. Has the same ’laid-back’ quality as some other of their beers too (which is a good thing).

Bottled. On the maltier side of amber. Mild hops kick to finish. ......decent enough ..

Draft at Whole Foods PM. Pours clear medium copper with off-white head. Nose was caramel malt, hops. Tasted like a slightly hoppy red ale with caramel malt and a medium to light palate heft and finish.
