3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
I’m really trying not to be biased, as I am never remotely impressed with Lakefront. So, with an open mind...this still falls short. In fact, I wouldn’t put this in the red category but brown as it’s too nutty and malty. Not my favorite red by any means...but good for Lakefront standards.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poured an orange with a white head. Aroma was of caramel malt, and oxidized hops. Flavor similar, seems old, nutty, but not good to start.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from GBBF 2015 and drunk at home. Clear red russet, copper colour lasting beige head. Red ipa aroma, some sweetness some red fruits, some grapefruit. I thought a decent red ipa. Good mouthfeel, some bitterness. Some grapefruit on the finish. I thought decent. Even pretty likeable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Another in the variety box with an overly energetic amount of foam. A 4 minute pour, far better than the White.......color is of cream soda with a pillowy white head after it settled......aroma of sweet bread, grape......taste is a touch astringent, soggy grain, cereal with a booze finish.

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Best of the mix pack. Good amber ale with a little bit of red robustness. Good alcohol content makes it a winner.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(bottle - 12 oz) Copper pour with a puffy white head. Dry hops in the aroma and in the flavor. Not much else to report. Pretty standard hoppy red.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured an orange-brown color with a medium sized fluffy beige head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was tangy, fruity and had notes of pine and grapefruit. The flavor was bitter and tangy with pine, grapefruit, bread and hints of caramel and pepper. Medium length finish. Medium body. Well done.

3.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Poured out clear ruby, white head, good carbonation. Piney, fruity, and fresh, some bite but very smooth all around. I’m not an IPA-lover, but this something quite different. Gorgeous color! Great taste!

Bottle. Pours ruby with a piney aroma. I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Good balance of malt and piney hops. The high abv sneaks up on you.
